Very interesting.
Based on her body of work, this new Power Rangers show is likely to be an hourlong drama. She got her start on Supernatural and then worked on Jessica Jones, Cloak and Dagger, and The Witcher, so I'm anticipating edgy young adult vibes for the new show. I guess Jonathan Entwistle's involvement already implied that, but this confirms it. What a wild thought that we're about to enter an era where Power Rangers is taken seriously in the English-speaking world. The 15 year-old version of me would be so excited about this, but the adult version of me kind of wonders if an edgy teen drama misses the whole appeal of tokusatsu in general. |

Can't wait for us to get Power Rangers 2017 all over again.

Like I would imagine a take that's pretty similar to the 2017 movie with focusing more on the human character drama with only a little bit of in-suit action which would be in-line with those other dramas...and even the in-suit stuff might be much more grounded and subdued compared to normal. I'd be kind of amazed if we get any Zords because that would probably cost a lot. |
