I just watched Episode 12-14. Nick's out, Netflix is in!
12: I was expecting Coach Bella to be Slyther is disguise and the uniforms to be part of some evil plot, but turns out she's actually just an avaricious person who exploits people's faith to make money. That's sadly a pretty accurate depiction though, since some people especially in this generation can easily be swindled by exclusive gym memberships and stuff like that if someone can sell it enthusiastically enough. Warden Buzzkill can justify paying for that for Izzy but not for Javi's instruments? Dude needs a priority check. He apparently loves cats though, so he can't be all bad. The moral is good, that improving one's physical welfare should be free for everybody. 13: Why is every other episode seemingly designed to make me feel sad for Javi? He does a pretty great job as Adrian's wingman here, but for the wrong people. Actually, I got to pity Adrian as well, since Javi gets his hopes up and lets him down, even though his heart was in the right place. He was also the catalyst for Slyther abducting him, but it wouldn't be fair to hold that against him. Anyway, I recognize that scene with Dino Fury Black giving the fake Sporix chest from those early filming leaks. Sure is good to finally see it. 14: The Emperor of Evil is back! I'd be surprised, but YouTube thumbnails, you know how it is. The premise is very similar to a plot from Beast Morphers, as Solon references, where some random MOTW unrelated to the main villains shows up, revives a defeated villain and brainwashes him. It sucked to see for a chump like Vargoyle and it sucks even more for Lord Zedd, especially if like me you had fun playing as him in Battle For The Grid. Fortunately, Ollie lets him loose to force an enemy of my enemy scenario and save his friends with the unforeseen consequence of Lord Zedd escaping. That's what happens when you play with fire, you get burned!

I've spent some time with the new episodes, though I was more enthralled with playing with the Zord toys at the same time than watching than episodes!
They did some interesting stuff, but there is still the tendency to not care as much as it still has a Neo-Saban vibe and a "But-I've-Seen-Ryusoulger-Or-A-Good-Chunk-Of-It" vibe. They definitely did a good job of getting Andrew Laing to voice Zedd, which is more passable than the Beast Morphers stupidity! They still have the bad habit of getting bad dub voices for the old footage though. It seems clear that Zedd will have more play in this season though. They didn't do a one-and-done with a new suit! Remember, the backstory is that Rafkon developed Sporix (no idea how or why) to combat evil, so there is clearly something more here than what has happened so far. Given the plot point of the Sixth Ranger, it's clear that something is amiss. I really didn't get why the Green Morphin' Master was partially responsible for stirring the Gold Ranger for fear of Zedd starting it all up again when there is definitely a Gold Morphin' Master who could've done the same friggin thing! Reaghoul is definitely following the same pattern as Vargoyle in Hasbro's "Monster Promotion" in which a random Sentai monster is promoted to recurring villain similar to general. Not a bad change to be sure. Got to like Izzy here! 'Nuff said. |

Apparently, they have a plan for the Green Master that will pay off in season two.

I have the back 11 on my I Pad so I'll get to them in a day or so.
By the way I'm on Ryu 25 so where about would that put me for Dino Fury?

The Rangers have just found a Kangaroo Dino Knight and his son. Hopefully none of the Zords get cut

Wow Netflix gets US streaming rights to Dino Fury Season 2
So does that mean whatever show is after Dino Fury is back to full 1 year shows? https://deadline.com/2021/10/power-r...mpression=true

Not necessarily, if they feel the 2-year thing is working out for them toy-wise. It makes sense with as many toys as most modern Sentai has; splitting it in half is easily enough to work for a year's toyline

Toys were the entire reason that Saban started splitting everything into two seasons in the first place, so I don't see Hasbro changing that trend, unfortunately.

Saw Dino Fury 13 today.
This is getting interesting so far. I wonder if Izzy will end up being a full official trainer by the 2nd half. Also I will see the last one before Nick airs it.
