Look, you guys can disagree with one another but do not, I repeat, DO NOT insult each other in the manner that just happened.

What did I miss? ._.
But anyway, let's just hope that someday we will have global official channels to watch our favorite tokus. I think it's long overdue. |

Indeed. Toei should have taken a hint from Tsuburaya LONG time ago. It has already been how many years? And their Toei World channel? A disappointment. Just feels cluttered and bloated. As much as it is a step in the right direction I feel like they are doing it out of obligatory reasons and to shut people up rather than actually putting care into it cause they already have a VIP club of sorts with TTFC for the domestic fans and the Toei World channel feels like a buffet of leftovers for a lack of comparison.

The problem with Toei's international YT channel is that outside of the 90s Rider films and the Kamen Rider episodes they put up, nothing else has subtitles.
Goranger? No subs. Gavan? No subs. What's the point of archiving your Showa-era toku series by promoting it as an International Channel when there aren't any language options for 99% of it?

If I recall the point of that channel is basically advertising for people who want to license stuff. Like "Here's some subbed episodes and here's the rest not subbed".
It's basically them fishing to see if they'll get a bite for someone wanting to license it. |
