Kind surprised Don Robobolt is purple when it's completely unrelated to the purple ranger we were just introduced to. Then again, his alter is green to reference Dragon Ranger, so this is probably par for the course.

That said, does anyone know the zord or ranger that Don Robobolt is referencing?

Geki Tiger is briefly purple when summoned by Geki Violet. Could be that.

The gold and purple color scheme makes me think of Ryu Voyager from Kyuranger.
I was expecting it to be a one piece mecha, not a two piece mecha.
