About Ace's original mom. I knew she'd be the Goddess of Creation.

I'm a little disappointed this episode played out so predictably, right down to Neon's father admitting his heart basically emptied when his original daughter died.
Was at least hoping for a cool upgrade for Neon, but just Boost. And if Neon ends up with Kyuun, how disappointing. I liked the reveal of Ace's original mom being the goddess of creation. Very curious where things will go from here. I also wonder when we'll acknowledge Ace's current mother, since the flashbacks to various other Aces in history did establish them having biological mothers.

It?s a shame, because I think a message about appreciating what you have and acknowledging the real love that Mika most presumably have for him would be great. I just don?t think the show will ever go there. |

Poor Neon.
It hurts me to see a poor girl like her have the world go against her. She’s only got Kyuun, Ace and Keiwa backing her up. Even Tsumuri. I feel she’s gotta sit this out till then until thing settle. But the only one who TRULY deserves Neon is Ace! Ace was reincarnated a lot, Neon was an artificial Akari. And Ace will lash out at her former fans and the Kurama family. |

Potential secret siblings reveal.
They didn't really waste many time of Geats LaserBoost's beatdown in the beginning to have him put down the Bishop Jamato for good. With his Laser Boost Victory that got cut from the last episode just finishing him off and sending the Jamato on Beroba's view. So Na-Go vs Buffa is still touched upon in this episode, but Michinaga quits his own game due to his fair-play standards, disapproving of Beroba's cheating. So far, Neon's misery is shown in, her mother again, but this time it's Neon who reaches out to her to ask for the truth, and actually Neon realizes that others' memories are altered to remember her instead of Akari, and her solution is to have Irumi touch her ID Core. I guess any ID Core will work and the DGP's memory altering power extends to altered memories due to the wish, which can mean if Kousei chose to forget Akari's death, touching the ID Core will undo that. Irumi is freaked out over her regained memories to view Neon as a stranger, which surely cements her decision to leave house again. Wonder if this is a setup for her next plot of actually never having any home at all, going from trying to leave her house. Ironically, Neon's reveal here actually fulfilled her wish of leaving her family behind especially her abusive mom, with her artificial status severing ties with her family and rips away her obligation to live at her house. But, the consequence for this is her feeling not having any home at all... similar to Michinaga in the Jamar Garden (according to Archimedel), with Neon shown crying even while wandering. So Neon's problem is about existensial crisis, of which like what several KR series point out, there's nothing wrong in how you come to exist, the problem would be how some people will treat you by this, of which other than her future fans Neon got no home due to being detached from family, but Neon got a scene of lamenting a family that passes by while looking at the mirror. Though Irumi also tried to make up by begging Neon to stay at her house after her outburst, which shows a shred of decency in her, but I'd hope that the solution isn't about families must always stick with each other. Some characters display their sympathy of Neon where not burdened with his inability to convey his feelings properly, Kyuun confronts the problem behind Neon's life, calling out Kousei on his parenting for the context behind his wish, of which indeed, Kousei's love died the same time Akari did, turning him cold-hearted and only prioritizing his business, rejecting the second chance of Akari returning as he can't feel love again even towards her, but using Neon as a means to develop Kurama Zaibatsu, and neglecting her otherwise, with the goal of marrying her to people from the future. Kyuun pointing out her only wanting genuine love is used by Kousei to have him marry her for Kurama Zaibatsu too, which'd mean Kousei's plan isn't completely ruined by Beroba turning the future fans against her. Tsumuri claims her suffering is unbearable, while addressing Neon with -sama... and I think the surprising part is, Chirami here actually sets Tsumuri on the right path of reminding her duties as a navigator. Chirami also claims he knows about Neon's past, which foreshadows another reveal which happens later. And of course Ace who confronts more people in Neon's behalf, like Kyuun who doesn't properly support her, and in fact is only bullying her in person. Though here Kyuun really recognizes his wrongs of trying to not meet her as his insulting ways surely will worsen her despair against her who is completely broken for now. Not knowing how his behavior to her in-person though, Ace makes similar accusation like Ziin, where he views Neon as an idol rather than person, and that her suffering is used for his own entertainment of 3.5D emotional experience. This can mean that Ace has bad judgment on the future even after he warmed up to Ziin which isn't a good look like assuming bad about people who watch the DGP. Would say Kyuun's a bit treated unfairly by Ace with him chastising Kyuun's inaction even when the action can be worse, albeit it's ofc done due to Ace's concern for Neon. Beroba's actions have fueled Ace's hatred against her, and finally, this also leads for Ace to recognize Michinaga's fucked up trait more, due to recognizing something in him that is similar to Beroba herself, of getting a kick in Riders' suffering, which Michinaga did when Riders die such as Shirowe. However, yeah, this also confirms about Michinaga actually targeting the DGP too, destroying it due to the misery it caused. But this also doesn't cancel out his prejudice towards Riders, of which it's still a valid target for him because the DGP doesn't take away the Riders' agency, with him blaming dreams on people which he deems as egotistical. But dreams are inherent part of humans, which can turn him into a potential misanthrope, and though he only targets Riders, it's a lazy solution to purge anyone merely for having dreams, instead of having own standards to measure which one is wrong in chasing them or not, or which one is redeemable or not for the wrong ones. He also has tunnel vision on the DGP and Riders only, to not care about any destruction he can bring, like joining the JGP, all to make a dent on them (or including people who aren't bad but caught in the crossfire only because they're a part of the DGP or Riders). While he doesn't directly attack civilians, he himself also can cause misery like taking part in the festival destruction. Though him do having a good intention to end the misery emphasizes that he's an anti-villain like Kaito, along with his standards of acting on his disgust of the Jamato crew by canceling his fight and attempting to leave them at the end, and this also has him being shocked when seeing Mitsume, the mother of Ace himself, got turned into Goddess of Creation, via the Vision Driver. Ace also personally protects Neon from a Jamato that targets her in broken state, though to make sure Ace doesn't intervene again, Neon gets teleported to the arena, where she got actually bruised for the beatdown, unlike cases like ep. 26 where both her and Keiwa were described as seriously injured. Until Kyuun gets on his act together and save her. Though Kyuun laments about his choice of words, what develops him isn't related to that, but rather, his similarities to Neon in origin, due to future people's life being fabricated as Ziin said, which gave him the understanding of how to get through her and find the right words for her, finally being honest, by telling her that her origin doesn't determine her happiness, and it'd mean she still has a chance to achieve her wants of getting genuine love. So it's about how being able to relate improves things, but it's about how you are instead of how you act. Neon does make a progress of recovering, like her remembering her times with her friends and fans (via streaming) to at least act in henshin, hugging Akari's vision to accept her origin, and finally fighting back later with Boost and Kyuun as her Contract Monster. But her trauma it's not fully solved in this episode alone which'd be good regarding putting actual weight on traumas, including the likely setup of new plot regarding her never having any home above, where she feels she doesn't belong yet to Ace and Keiwa, not reuniting with them at the end, and this'd be her turn to temporarily disappear from the story as Takahashi said. Would hope that her process to overcome her trauma further is shown, and also her genuine love wish being touched upon compared to how her artificial status affects others. Actually I'd say there's not much scene of her stunts outside of using Boost to run fast like Lopo before, less flashy than her ep. 4 and ep. 10 fights. It's short to only display their teamwork like Kyuun teleporting/shielding Na-Go with his cards, and the symbolism of the gender-reversal role of Na-Go acting as the Prince(ss) Charming and Kyuun as the "white horse". Instead of a new form, the Laser Raise Riser is used as a weapon instead, in its Spear Mode for Na-Go to finish off Dunkleosteus Jamato. Geats also helps by stopping the Jamatos who'd attempt to eliminate Kyuun, which shows Beroba's hypocrisy of only allowing her side to cheat, which ends up making the final round ending in a draw instead of a win for Na-Go. Albeit Daichi sets Keiwa free afterwards. So people's theories about Mitsume being the Goddess of Creation is actually right, and can make Ace and Neon technically related, and likely many other living beings created by her. Now I also wonder why Mitsume was so powerful in having a power to create miracles to the point of being targeted to create DGP. The Neon two-parter was actually a setup to showcase the ability of the Vision Driver which'd further move the plot forward, for Ace in the next episode, as it was where Beroba knew Neon's dark truth. Vision Drivers grant the user the memories of all its previous user, of which the flashback involves the Game Masters, led by Sueru, being the one behind the creation of the DGP. So it seems that the Game Masters really held high power over the DGP, at least for Sueru, and this might be how the Game Master position went into Girori's head, but dunno if different era leads for them to be under Producer's control. And this'd mean, Ace's wish to become a Game Master will finally make him achieve his goal, of which Ace's process the reveal in the next episode.

The man has learned that not all Tsunderes are beloved.
It was a nice episode with lots of great dynamic action with Naago and Kyuun, but that Spear was what won it for me. Not to say everything else wasn't worth mentioning, but those two had great dynamic this episode and I think they did pull off this well, even if Michinaga thoroughly borched up. And who would have guessed Ace's mother actually was the Goddess of Creation? I'd say I called it, but come on, it was kind of obvious. Not saying that's a bad thing either, since it seems like it'll be very interesting down the line... Next Episode: Keiwa: "So me and the frog are getting our dynamic duo arc, right?" Ace: "Well yes, but actually no."

Unfortunately, I don?t think we?re going to. Character nuance is rarely Takahashi?s forte, and the show had made it perfectly clear that Mika Ukiyo is completely superfluous to Ace?s quest for Mitsume, so the story has no reason to show her.

"Just" Boost? This is the big debut of Na-Go BeatBoost that everybody's been waiting for! Maybe you underestimate Boost's power due to it being a Q1 item and part of the main form, but personally, I think it's always exciting whenever the Riders use it with their signature Raise Buckles. Especially here, as Na-Go uniquely gets to ride Kamen Rider Kyuun instead of the Boostriker! Honestly, maybe my favorite fight scene in the show so far.
This'd also mean her fans on the present world, because the DGP keeps regular people in the dark about it.

Yeah, I also felt underestimating Boost before, guess until ep. 15 where Girori gives Boost as a solution for Keiwa and Neon feeling hopeless. But... who is the "everybody" you refer in waiting for Na-Go BeatBoost?? You waiting ≠ everybody waiting . Na-Go wouldn't be what people are looking forward to for action scenes, it seems to be only people like Geats who has Kabuto's hypercompetence, or Buffa in his brutish fighting style that seems to be viewed as feeling more punch to it.
