Was able to watch it over the weekend. Incredibly fantastic film. I haven't watched many of the Godzilla movies, but this is the one where I cared the most about the main characters. Don't miss it, watch it on the big screen !

It is MAGNIFICENT! Absolutely the best movie of 2023 and now one of my favorite Godzilla Movies.

Watched it this past weekend.
Phenomenal film. Emotional. Gripping. Exciting. Shocking. Horrifying. The list is endless. Definitely one of the best films of 2023, bar none.

Saw it tonight. More than lived up to the hype. It was just beautifully done.

Just got back from seeing Minus One, and I'll be honest, I really don't get the hype.
There were alot of things that just really took me out of it. From the subtitles reading like dubtitles, to alot of the important characters having modern haircuts in what's supposed to be WWII times, to alot of utter plot and character contrivances, I found myself rolling my eyes throughout the film more often than not. In the end it just came across as really boring misery porn ala Blassreiter. I'll stick to the original Godzilla from 70 years ago for my tragic Godzilla films.

I'm just repeating what everyone else has said (except for comparing it to friggin' Blassreiter???), but Godzilla Minus One is a faaantastic film. If you are able to see it on a big screen, do it!

Godzilla Minus One has received an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects- the first time a Godzilla project has received such a nod!
