Gaburincho! The next in Tokunation.com's series of DX Kyoryuger gallery and reviews is here for your enjoyment! This time around we're taking a look at the DX Kamitsuki Gattai Kyoryuzin! I'm kind of surprised how well GoBuster Oh stacks up in comparison to it.
Also, I didn't know how puny Dekaranger Robo was. I want to know when BoA began the downsizing of the Megazords, because SPD Megazord must be the size of a grape or something :lol

…man if Kyoryujin is already larger then most DX mecha imagine how big his final clusterfuck combination is gonna be

actually I think, SPD and Mystic Force were the last "same mold" figures, I am pretty sure OperationOverdrive was the first to have a complete different mold, and jungle fury started downsizing, and of course the infamous Zord Builder that we have had since MMPR 2010

Oh man, Go-On 12 and Samurai Ha-Oh are huge as heck from what I have seen.... if they make a shelf to fit that cluster of plastic :lol

You want a G12 comparison? How about some bonus Itasha Robo while we're at it? :D

It's hilarious that G12 is wearing platform shoes on top of a pair of boots, but Kyoryujin is still as long, horizontally :p

Sweet! Too bad I'm using a school computer and can't watch that now, but he looks awesome. He's already bigger than my two biggest mecha: Gokaioh and GekiTouja.

Actually, head to head, GokaiOh is taller. Kyoryujin is only taller thank's to Gabutyra's head shoulder pad.

Yeah, that's right, Mystic Force was the last time we got the Japanese molds as mainline Zords. There was a redux of BOJ mecha with Jungle Fury, when they released a side line of DX Megazords that were more or less equivalent to the Gekiranger ones (these are my "Gekiranger" mecha :)). Then of course, now Bandai of America directly imports Japanese mecha for collectors, complete with the original packaging.

the down sizes happend with daibouken due to they made there first new molde with OO megazord but then a full down sized RPM to Go-onger all the other Times we had the BOJ toy with some miner paint apps missing.

why didn't you extend the tip of Dricera's tail? Also your vid loses sound at the 10min mark for a couple sec.

The tail is extended when the battery is inserted. When I took the battery out to get the proper name callouts I didn't insert it fully so it didn't pop back out. My mistake. I hadn't realized the audio cutout either. I might need to do a V2 of this video.

I'm talking about the yellow tip. You have to pull it out yourself.

But Dricera is pronounced as you would "TriCERAtops", not "Drikera", isn't it? It bothered me because I'm crazy like that. Great review, though, I'm so excited after this review I went and got Parasagon and Zakutoru from HLJ before I even have Kyoryujin, figured I might as well grab them when I can!

The show seems to pronounce it as drai-keh-rah, so I'm guessing the pronunciation is all over the place.

You are absolutely right. I went and double-checked and it definitely is written and pronounced as "Dorikera". My mistake, I'm sorry!

Seems weird though, I thought "cera" made a lot more sense!

Me too! That was my guess when I first read the name.

Impressive that he stands so much taller than Daibouken, given Daibouken's general girth. The overall look reminds me of the Beast Wars Neo badguy Magmatron.

Great review Den-O! Ill admit that at first i was extremely skeptical of the way this series mecha were going, but with the super show accurateness of the toy and the fanfare electronic feature this one deserves high praise indeed. I too am already in speculation mode about future combinations and seeing the cape middle joint you swung out, that only peaks my curiosity.

There are also clips on the bottom middle of each of his feet as well as an additional set of clips located just above the ones used for the cape. Which I'd speculate are used with the rumored plesiosaur combo since it becomes scuba armor.

Arent there almost always. ;) Its become the first place ill check if i get sentai mecha. Started when i got into Brave which come to think of it was 90% platform shoe upgrade.

Interesting, i would have thought it would be for the wings from Ptera.

I'd say they may double for the Pteragodon combo as well but based on the designs designs we've seen I think it'll work for the scuba combo too. And the foot clips will definitely be used for the scuba flippers and for the Brachigas carrier mode.

That is WAY bigger than I thought it would be, impressive. Looks a lot better here too, actually looks fun.

Just based on its size as a standard 3 piece combo, Id say the other larger combos will be HUGE.

...Nope, my shelf won't be able to handle that. :D Not to mention my poor wallet... :(

Tell me about it. My large shelf space is dominated right now by G12, Go-Buster King, Pyramider, and Itasha Robo. Another big robo will break me :lol

I'm a glutton for punishment after all, and so is my wallet.

I knew that this thing would be huge, but I wasn't expecting it to dwarf most of the other mechas! Once the other dinos pop up and the rumor about them all combining together is true this beast could weight up to 10 pounds or more!

It's too bad that I hate dinosaurs though. Even though they creep me out Kyoryuzin looks much better than Go-Buster Oh.

Then again FOC Jazz looks better than Go-Buster Oh too.

just a thought but shouldn't AbarenOh be in here as well i would find quite fitting to compare the older dino sentai with the new dino sentai

My point in showing the comparisons was doing the last decade of sentai robos. Dekaranger through Kyoryuger, and showing the way design has changed over this past 10 years. Abaranger comes before Dekaranger anyway and I don't own any of the mecha from it currently.

I believe Kyoryuzin dwarfs Abarenoh.

For those who have both Kyoryuzin and Go-Buster Oh, which do you think is better? I'm considering getting some Sentai Mecha in the next month or so and probably only have the space to get one but not too sure which to get. Just want to hear what others think and maybe that'll help me decide.
