No seriously, there's not even any question about it. Kaito is ALWAYS the second most important character behind Kouta, and they're explicitly set up as a contrasting duo, both in personality and design, even if they aren't literally interacting as a group, which they usually are anyway, so...

The only real argument for Micchi being the secondary Rider is that he spent the first quarter of the show in a buddy act with Kouta, but beyond that, he was always slightly more out of focus then him and Kaito were. He's definitely the third most important Rider, though.

Baron and Ryugen are both considered the main Secondary Rider, and I've seen people debate who is the 'real' one even till today. Baron is the one who acted like a real secondary rider (in other words, not to villainous if not down right an anti-hero) majority of the time, while Micchy started off looking like one before descending into little asshole territory.

TVN finished subbing the new Ex-Aid before Excite!, should I start panicking senselessly?

You should be excited then. Now you can get high quality subs earlier.

Yeahhhh, but I don't like watching two different subbed versions of the same show. The little inconsistencies drive me crazy.

Episode 6 on kissasian.com said that the subs were done by RTA. And thy got them up by sunday night. Eastern time, USA, that is. And when Excite was doing them, they were getting put up on Monday at some point.

Do you think Kamen Rider have a BETTER Storyline or Story Structure than Super Sentai?

I realize that most of Recent Super Sentai has a same old story structure over and over again! and it doesn't help the fact that Super Sentai have so many of an episodic filler that doesn't have to do with storyline! I felt I will have to wait until there a Super Sentai that will be unique than recent ones.

Anyway, my point is do you guys think Kamen Rider have a much better story structure than Super Sentai?

Unlike Super Sentai, There's NO Episodic Filler in Kamen Rider because most of their episodes always has to do with the storyline! And their story structure is NOT same old plot. Most of their villains have a different motivation rather DESTROYED THE EARTH for NO Good Reasons

First of all, the shows handle things differently, so a comparison shouldn't even be made, KR is more drama focused and Sentai focuses on character development and interaction a lot more. KR has had filler, like Dark Kitchen in Kabuto, or Ghost, or literally everything that's not important to the story in the franchise

Yeah, that RTA sub was surprising. Excite did state that their subs are to be expected by Wednesday. They missed that goal this week due to a seeding issue but, they're up now!

I've decided I'll just watch TVN or Excite, whoever manages to get it up first. Were the RTA subs any good?

Not speaking Japanese, I couldn't say. I'm waiting for an Excite hardsub to compare.

They're not going to get tired of making money. It would take a complete, multi-year collapse in Kamen Rider's ability to turn a profit for Toei to cancel it. At this point, Super Sentai is in more danger of going away than Rider.

It's not about whether if it's turning a profit at all, but if it's turning enough of a profit. If a movie studio spends 100 million in total on a movie and gross 110 million, it's a profit of 10 million but why spend that much money if you're going to make that little profit in comparison to what you spent?

Since W and shinkenger started which one kamen rider series and one super sentai series were your favorites and which were you least favorites?

Assuming I'm ignoring W, Fourze was my favorite and OOO my least. Including W, in the mix, it's easily my favorite.

My favourite Kamen Rider series since W has been Gaim for sure.

Favorite Rider show is W, least favorite is Ghost.

Favorite Sentai is Gokaiger, least favorite is Kyoryuger.

So, a very complex question here:
If a person's Bugster just achieved its completion, and he is a Gate in despair and his Phantom is going to born at that same moment, but an Orphnoch successfully sired him at that very moment, again, what will born from him? Bugster, Orphnoch or Phantom?

For Rider I think it's safe to say Ghost is my favorite at this point. Maybe if Wizard inspires me to write a novel only like three people will ever read too it'll reclaim that title, but I doubt it. As for my least favorite, it's definitely Gaim, but only by default. For all the problems I had/have with that show, I'd watch it over a million other things in an instant.

I mean, asking me to pick favorites with Kamen Rider is like asking me which of my organs I'm most fond of: I could probably come up with a list in a pinch, but that's really kind of missing the point, isn't it? :p

As for Sentai, favorite = Go-Busters, least favorite = Zyuohger, and that one is really by default, because Zyuohger is really good.

My guess is that he'll turn into some monstrous combination of all three of them.

If it happens in that exact sequence then the Bugster will leave the host first, then before said host disappears the Phantom will break out of the host, which kills him and then he reanimates as an Orphenoch. The Bugster will vanish soon after since its host is no more, it could survive if it could still draw energy from the Orphenoch which I assume it can't.

So you get all three at first but the Bugster won't be around for long.

If the Bugster fully adults first it's the only one we have to worry about though, since the body disappears so no Phantom or Orphenoch can be born from it.

I think Phantoms and Orphenochs are generally compatible, but I haven't watched Wizard in a while so I don't fully remember if Phantoms leave the dead body of their host behind or if it explodes or something. It they don't leave a corpse behind then you won't get an Orphenoch either. And the Bugster will die too.

So I guess it depends on the sequence and if the individual transformations still trigger after these events.

Gaim. But Ex-aid so far looks like it will take that spot.
For sentai I got a few but if I am to select one Gokaiger.

Anybody else feel like we're long overdue for a different type of protagonist in Rider? I mean, don't get me wrong, most of the protagonists in the post-Decade era have been fantastic, but they all sort of fit into the same idiot/naive hero category.

Love 'em or hate 'em, guys like Takumi and Tendou were definitely unique protagonists for Rider and they don't have to exactly replicate them, but I would like to see just the occasional protagonist that isn't all "I want to protect everyone's smiles!" all the time. Or even someone like Shotaro who tries really hard to be cold and detached but just can't do it.

Well, if you count Kamen Rider Amazons, we have Haruka Mizusawa and Jin Takayama...

Or someone like Hibiki who just trains hard and does his job. I'd really like to see an older main Rider again, but I know these days that's pretty much impossible.

This would be a really cool plot for a crossover movie actually. I can just imagine the collective panic the riders from each series if something like that happened.:p

Depends on the order it happens in. Could be any one, two or all three, depending on how Bugsters body disappearing and Orphenochs resurrection interact.

The thing to remember is that Bugsters and Phantoms are separate entities from their hosts, while Orphenochs are the original person resurrected, so I doubt fusion is a real possibility.

How would you make kamen rider gaim gaiden baron story better?

1) Add Hikari Studio and everyone in it.
2) Give Natsumi Hikari Natsumikan lockseed and a Sengoku driver.
3) Let someone says "Onore Decade!!!"
4) Profit.

Is Baron's banana lock seed really saying "Knight of Spear?" It sounds like there's way too many syllables, even for Japanese. Like to me it sounds like it's saying "Knight of-u Spear ___ ___" with a difficult to make out, two syllable word at the end. It's always bugged me when every other lock seed has crystal clear words.
