That would be cool. We get different powers based on classic movies too, but I can see that being a issue due to copy right issues unless they are in public domain.

Like, have the action movie form have a whip and hat while never saying the words Indiana Jones, although blending that with something else would probably help. Like how Mighty Action X fuses aspects of Mario, Kirby and Sonic in design.

Or if you're talking about having fancy reels, like how Ex-Aid's getting a Pac-man Gashat for the Ganbarizing or whatever they call it now game... That'd definitely be harder for overseas films like Star Wars and such. It's not like video games where Japan has a very strong influence on the entire market and has a history of crossover material already.

Well thats when you do what Ex-Aid seems to be doing and make the forms/ Riders based on different genres of movies fpr example Action, Horror, Sci-fi, Toku that kind of thing

To the Ex-aid fans, which rider from Ex-Aid do you like so far?
I for one am liking Ex-aid and Snipe.

Lazer is my homeboy, which is unusual given I normally gravitate towards the leads every year. I mean, Emu is cool and all, but he's not Kiriya. I must say though, Ex-Aid's been doing a good job of making me like everyone so far.

Yeah, I actually like the cast as a whole, although most of them make me want to punch them in the face, but in a "Cut the crap" sort of way, which I like.

Seriously, though, I like Emu, Hiiro, and Kiriya pretty equally. Taiga is really obnoxious so far but he's doing a good job of being an antagonistic dickbag and I'm willing to see if he comes around at some point. Honestly, the show is doing a good job with its case.

He's saying 培養 (baiyou), which does indeed mean cultivate. You're mishearing only sorta, sorta badly. :p

Pro-tip from a complete amateur: TV-Nihon's wiki thing (and probably a bunch of other places) always has transcripts for new episodes as they air (for example). Way easier than going off what you hear. :thumb:

It dawns on me that I still haven't seen the Gaim x ToQger crossover episodes. Did TV-Nihon sub them? I'm not sure where to find it honestly. I'm also not sure if I should hold out on it until I've seen ToQger either...

TV-Nihon has subbed the crossover special and, if I recall correctly, the special takes place very early in their adventure so I think your good.

Did Den-O regained the popularity of Kamen Rider among western fans?

Before Den-O, The Early Heisei Years of Kamen Riders was Weird. Kuuga, Agito and Ryuki was one of Kamen Rider's Well-Received and Popular show but it went downhill after Ryuki. Faiz become very HATED Kamen Rider Show because it was too boring and there too many confusing storyline. Blade was a mixed bag, Some loved it and some hated it! Hibiki went from a potential great show to a disappointed show because the production team got changed and they rewrote the Original ending and Kabuto was also a mixed bag too!

When Den-O arrive in 2007, Most of Original Fans were skeptical about this show because they thought this would be too much Super Sentai than Kamen Rider but couple of month later. Den-O would be the most popular Kamen Rider Show of decade! To the point Toei make them a Cash-Cow Franchise, There were a couple of V-Cinema Films and they were the main stars along with OOO Cast for All Rider Movie

Tonally speaking, it's ToQger all the way, so that makes sense.

That's actually the reason Aesir gave as to why they didn't do it (and also Over-Time was doing it anyway). I believe the wording they used was something like "you'll get more out of it coming at it as a ToQger fan", and I'm inclined to agree. I enjoyed it for what it was (and give it major props for not having Gaim and the ToQgers fight each other), but the Gaim cast, outside of Kouta, is really noticeably off.

Hmm, maybe I will hold off on it then. Maaaan, why they gotta make watching everything for a series so difficult with all these crossovers. I still haven't watched the friggin' Decade x W movie because of things like this.

If we were to get a Kamen Rider adaptation that's very faithful to the original, got a good cast, a tad bit darker and a graphical update in case it's an older season, which shows would you like to see first? Kuuga, Blade, Kabuto, W and Gaim are choices I'd make

I'd say Kabuto, but with a lot of the fat trimmed and some clearer motivations for some of the characters *hackwheezehopperbros*.

I think Ryuki could benefit a lot from an adaptation, since it's really conceptually good but gets really nonsensical at points. I also think a Kuuga or Faiz adaptations could be cool.

Kamen Rider-freakin-pen-pineapple-apple-pen-Kabuto. Good number of riders with timeless suit designs and it could be a very nice mishmash of X-Files and Flash tone-wise.

I know this was not asked but I would LOVE to see a Fourze adaptation where Gentaro USA or Fonzie MK II is a 60s kid that somehow ended up in the 21st century i.e. Futurama and now has to save Earth with a ripoff of the Breakfast Club. Meteor will be a 21 loose homage to Jump Street.

I think Blade and Ryuki would be very good if adapted in the west. If they kept the same plot, but changed only the names, the setting and maybe tweaking the tone, I think it could work.
