And who the hell knows what's going on with Decade EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, the G3 unit DID appear in Ryuki's movie. So maybe at least that alternate timeline's version of the characters exist along with Kuuga and Agito. |
My headcanon is that each Heisei era season used to take place in its own continuity, save for Kuuga and Agito taking place in the same timeline. But during events of Decade, the multiverse just kind of "broke." Not only did this fuse the Heisei Era, Showa Era, and the Neo-Heisei era into one continuity, it also connected the Kamen Rider world with the Super Sentai world, which is also a shared continuity in my headcanon.
The connection wasn't strong at first but, over time, the world began to grow more and more connected until, by this time, they're basically two worlds stuck together, barely kept apart by a Dimensional Wall so thin that one could pass through it with basically no effort if there in the right place. Needless to say, Tokyo is one of those places. |

I wonder where Amazons fits into all of this. It's probably "officially" not part of the main continuity, but I feel like it could still fit in, with both heroes being the type to not really bother with ongoing events going on with the main Rider shows, thus explaining their absence from them. |

The real question is how The First and The Next fit in. You'd assume they'd be in an alternate universe, since there shouldn't probably be two Takeshi Hongos running around, except The First version of him cameoed in Kabuto, which is supposedly in the main continuity....it's a whole mess. |

Yeah, Ex-Aid's CG is a tiny bit of a step up from Ghost, but I really think the perception of it being notably better comes more from that people are just plain more interested in Ex-Aid to begin with, which makes it easier to brush off. The video gamey stuff looks good because it's simple (i.e. pasting a a piece of 2D text that says "HIT!"on the screen), and the more complex stuff isn't really that much better than some other recent Rider shows (there's a big dramatic shot of Ex-Aid transforming into Level 5 that looks pretty dorky in episode 13, for example).
Also, I really don't think Ghost's budget was the significant step down I keep seeing it made out to be lately. If it weren't for the use of stock footage transformations (which Ex-Aid has too) I'd say it's basically just people projecting their (totally reasonable, I swear!) distaste for Ghost onto Toei, like they deliberately wrote off the entire show at some point early on. I totally could see there being some truth to them saving up some money for Ex-Aid, I just don't think it's significantly worse off . Most of the actual effects in Ghost are about up to snuff (again, complex stuff like Specter's Bike Fu against Ghost in episode 5 looks dorky, simple stuff like Rider Kicks looks good. Stuff like the Parkas falls somewhere in the middle), and the whole "they reused monster suits!" thing is likely just a result of over half a dozen monsters being used in standalone episodes early on instead of the usual two parters we've been getting forever now. The actual amount of unique costumes is comparable to normal, and Ex-Aid is even doing the same thing now for presumably the same reason. That ended up being a longer post than I would've imagined but long story short: - Ex-Aid's effects are good! - I'm still a shameless Ghost fan! :p |

Do you like the idea of Kamen Rider become INSANE each time they HENSHIN?
Think like this, Everytime you HENSHIN into a Kamen Rider. You will turn into INSANE and eventually become villainous It like it poison your mind to the point you are no longer a good person anymore but rather INSANE one! When the last time we have a Kamen Rider that go INSANE every time they transform? |
Sounds like a high concept Rob Liefeld comic circa '93.

It said in episode 15 Nico stole a gashat
|
It says in the one of the scan (can't remember which one though) that Because Nico doesn't have the compatibility surgegy to use the Gamer Driver, when she tries to use the Bang Bang Shooting Gashat she stole from Taiga, it infects her with Bugster Virus, so don't get your hope up too soon.

Which movie riders are your favorite and why?
Here is my list: G4: I like how robust it feels Psyga: Left quite an impression when fighting Kusaka/Kaixa Orga: I love the design, the black suit with gold trims is beautiful Kabuki: The asymmetrical design works well in my opinion Ketaros: For a Kabuto rehash, his helmet works well compared to Caucasus and Heracus Eternal: Still to this day the best in all aspects Be it design, character, etc. A shame they did not release a model kit of him Skull: I love the hat, the helmet, the badassery the man the myth the legend aspect of him Bujin Gaim: For a repaint the end result is fantastic, the black and red work surprisingly well |
Dark Drive because his suit is sexy as hell.
Character wise I can:t really think of anyone I care about. But Type Next is such a damn good suit. I also like Lupin a lot, now that I think about it. |
Psyga, Orga, Mars, Sango, Eternal really there's been no shortage of great movie Rider designs.
I think I love Psyga the most. Then Orga, mainly because it's really something that should have happened in the show. |
My favorite is probably Femme. I really liked her character and the way she interacted with Shinji. Skull is definitely another favorite, too. New Den-O also had some cool moments. I'll throw in some respect for Eternal, but it's mostly because I like his posse.

So does Kamen Rider Chalice's bow come from the fact that the Mantis Undead can use it, or is it Hajime's own power that it comes from?

The Rouzing capabilities are all Hajime, though. |
Which Rider death impacted you the most at first view?
PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS For myself it was Kamen Rider Scissors from Ryuki |
Quote:
Scissors' death really left an impression on me since Ryuki was my "first" Rider show, and since it comes so tone-settingly early on. Not to mention happening just off-screen only made it all the creepier. Chase's death in Drive was handled spectacularly, of course. If that scene didn't make you feel something, you probably aren't human. Which I suppose would be rather ironic. Sasword in Kabuto? Like a lot of Kabuto, it's a bit of a blur to me now, but the character had become one of my favorite (maybe even my favorite) parts of the show, and the whole episode was really well done as I remember it. Very melodramatic in a good way. Bonus points for airing on Christmas Eve. I imagine any kid who got a Sasword Zecter the next morning had trouble being happy about it. Way to go, Inoue! :p Also I know this is cheating but episode 12 of Ghost is completely amazing and I will always stand by its plot as not being redundant in any way beyond the surface level. It's really good. |
For me it was Hase/Kurokage. It was just cruel and vicious what happened to him.
|
(Why am I so good at accidentally reading Drive spoilers. I have no one to blame but myself.)
For me though, it was probably either Philip from W (even though it wasn't permanent it had be bawling) or Shinji from Ryuki by merit of how unexpected and SAVAGE it was (even though this too, wasn't technically permanent). |
