It'd be awesome to see him come back as a Rider in a new show at some point. The guy's gone on to become a fantastic martial artist and stunt guy.

First was Akira, then we had Gon, now her.

The original idea was to make him an Oni (Rider) at the end of Hibiki but, of course, the ending was rewritten the day of shooting. However, the suit was made and got used in the Hibiki portion of Decade, unfortunately, Decade's Asumu (Kazuki Koshimizu) was a younger, smaller actor so the suit, built for the original Asumu, Rakuto Tochihara, looks ridiculous on him.

Out of all Rider suits, which do you consider the ugliest?

That award probably goes to one of the cheaper stage suits simply because of their nature, but as far as prominent suits go I think Decade has the ugliest. Probably Complete Form more so than the base one but I despise both.

Sasword's Masked Form. It's pretty much every bad design decision from a 90s action figure line in one place. Dishonorable mentions include Decade and Diend's complete forms and almost everything from Ex-Aid.

That weird DiEnd form from the Shinkenger cross-over and everything from Ex-Aid.

Drive's Dumptruck thing, I can't remember what it's called but it's the boxy green one. So lame. Ex-Aid is lame all around which is fine because they're "Ex-Aid Cool".

I don't mean he is very old but he would be in his thirties.

The last time we got Main Kamen Rider who is older than twenties is Hibiki

Hibiki's actor was about 34 years old when the show got started.

We haven't got Main Kamen Rider who is at Thirties. What was excuse for his actor to play Hibiki despite being 34?

Hibiki was a mentor character. Not only was he in his 30s, he had the better part of 20 years of experience being an Oni. His age and experience were necessary for the role he played. On the other hand, for other Primary Riders, late teens-early twenties is the perfect age.

Old enough to not only have freedom in where he goes and what he does but also old enough to have a backstory and young enough so that he's still a blank slate beginner that can grow into the hero that he's meant to be. Unless there's a specific reason for him to be older or younger, the current age range is perfect.

It's a lot easier to sell to people when your protagonist is a young, attractive dude.

Additionally, most series are written so that it makes sense for why the protagonists are so young, so it's alright.

The rugged, handsome look has been phased out for the primary main character. We still get them as side roles sometimes.

Ever since Ryuki there's also been a small section of the Rider fanbase made up of young mothers who watch the shows with their children and like some eye candy.

I can't believe I forgot to mention that.

The series is aim to kids from 4 - 12 years old. I would imagine they like having younger actors for the main role for younger kids to look up too. It's not just Kamen Rider, other Japanese media like anime and manga are like that too (With the main characters being in High School).

Hmm..sometime, I am really want the protagonist Rider for future series is around 28 years old. Of course with more mature personality.

Honestly, that would have to be a character like Hibiki or Tendou. Someone who's skills and life are basically already there and don't really have character development so much as revelation.

It also basically requires you to have the younger, less experienced, secondary rider introduced far sooner than usual, even without them actually transforming. Again, look at Kabuto and Hibiki, with the assumption that Asumu was meant to be an Oni by the end.

Any of you guys watch the Ex-Aid commercials? One of the commercials that aired during episode 17 of Ex-Aid was a Mcdonalds one. It was showing off some of the Happy Meal toys. Unsurprisingly, of the 5 cards they showed off, Ex-Aid had two and Brave had one. What were the other two cards?... Gemn Zombie and Para-DX. The video of children cheering happily as Gemn's card was showed off was almost as beautiful as one of the old Ryuki commercials that had kids dressed up as, along with Ryuki and Knight, Ouja and Zolda. I love Kamen Rider's merchandise tie ins.

What do you guys think of this analysis of the ending of Gaim?

Which means I can just recycle my opinion:

Basically, I think that post is giving the crappy writing in Gaim's ending WAY too much credit. It basically ignores huge parts of what Gaim was actually about to arrive at a conclusion that, while sounding convincing enough on its own merits, doesn't really gel with the series as a whole.

It's been a while since I've seen Gaim, but doesn't DJ Sagara state that the reason Helheim kept invading other worlds is because the last "winners" let Helheim take over, whereas Kouta took Helheim somewhere else and built a new world without destroying the old world (unlike what Kaito wanted to do).

And wasn't Kouta's whole thing about "breaking down the rules that require sacrifices" regarding the need for the death of innocents in order to save the world? Kaito wasn't innocent; he was willing to commit literal genocide to build his ideal world. And sure, Kouta understands by the end that Kaito's intentions came from a good place, but at the end of the day, he was still going to kill a bunch of people. I wouldn't say that killing Kaito is a "sacrifice" any more than killing Redyue was a sacrifice (granted, Redyue was just pure evil), since Kaito is the direct cause of the current conflict.

I'm sick of rival riders in the series. I'm getting sick of the secondary rider being some type of badass anti hero and that is a rival to the main rider then becomes good over time. With Baron, I like that he became the final villain which was nice for a change. Most of the secondary riders are the typical Shonen rival character (Vegeta, Sasuke, Gary, Kaiba and a few others).

I have to admit, the aversion of that is something I rather like about Wizard. Kosuke was just a swell guy from the start. It's also something I "like" about Kusaka, but in the complete opposite way.

Kosuke was Beast right? The only time they fought was because he didn't know that Haruto doesn't need to feed his Contract Mon-errr, dragon
