Neo-Heisei is much harder. I typed in "W," "OOO," and "Fourze" into that last sentence and then stopped and backtracked. The early shows of this era had fantastic casts that really meshed well. If I had to pick just one, I'd probably go with W, but it's a tough call. |

Kabuto started out strong in the first ten episodes especially with thebee arc. It becomes fillers shortly after Drake and Sasword made their introduction. It became good again after Yaguruma returns, but too much plot device was introduced and they ran out if budget at the end. I think Kabuto fail to be a good anniversary series because it's written by half a dozen writers and they all have different plans. It's still one of my favorite series because of the suits, actions, and actors. Kabuto and Den-o were like the last ones to become super successful outside of filming toku and highshcool drama. Yeah. I mean, I still like Kabuto and it's not nearly the mess of writing that Decade is, but it's clear some weirdness was going on. Like what was up with Dark Kabuto and where the Hopper Zecters come from. Quote:

How do you feel about the OP for a series being used as an ad for whatever upcoming movie there is?

So if Ex-Aid is basically a doctor if he was able to become Mario, does that make him Doctor Mario? He even fought against Pac-Man!
Is Ex-Aid just Super Smash Bros. the TV show? I'll show myself the way out now. |
Yeah I'm pretty indifferent to it too, i don't really pay attention to the stuff actually happening during the openings nine times out of ten anyways.
|
See personally I like watching openings, it really sets the tone for any show (not just toku...anime, sitcoms, drama, etc) and I feel like a great opening can really help out a show. It's disappointing to me to see an opening that plays out like a giant advertisement.
Also, another question - does anybody have a good image of Ex-Aid from behind? I think I might try to cosplay him but need a good look at his back. |

My opinion on that is actually that it's pretty lame, and if they're going to do it they may as well just do what Ex-Aid did and not have an opening for the duration of the movie's advertising period. Quote:

I hate how long it takes for the movies to come out lol. Does anybody have an estimate of when we'll get it? edit: I guess it comes out on DVD Wednesday...not sure how long it'll take to sub, but I can't imagine it'll be very long? |

So was this song deemed too awesome to be played in Kuuga? Because this would have been amazing to hear during those last few episodes.

So what is your opinion of Shocker ? Should they be replaced as the crossover villains and if which villain organization should take their place?

Honestly, give Smart Brain a go if nothing else. Inui was made into a Shocker Leader in the Rider #4 special, so mix some of that shit in and have the Orphenochs try for a revival (and fail miserably). |
How much do Drivers retail for in Japan, anybody know? I'm studying abroad and thinking about picking one up while i'm there

What is this from? Is there some sort of special where they both show up, or is it just a promo image? |

Reading about Faiz's epic misunderstandings has really stoked my curiosity... Could someone give me some examples (with spoiler tags ofcourse), because even if I do end watching it, I want to be prepared :lol.

Too damn many! Just think to yourself "I'm entering the INOUE ZONE" and just enjoy it all with an eyeroll and a groan. It's not terrible. Now, KIVAAAAAAAHHHHHHBHNRRRGHHH
SPIDER-MAN / KAMEN RIDER image is likely promo from when their shows ran together in a kid's programming block - just like today with Sentai / Rider. They definitely didn't do a movie together (wish they did!). |

Well, Gaim had Takatora not realizing that Micchy is Ryugen despite the evidence staring him right in the face and everyone (included me) loved Gaim, so maybe Faiz really isn't that bad :lol.
