Almighty for me
|
Almighty's fantastic, I'd rather it than the ED. It just gets better with every listen.
|
Almighty supremecy gang let's go.
|
I really enjoy Almighty a lot. So that's my vote.
But I'm also picking the non available third choice that is Taju Rokou from the Saber Movie, the full version recently came out and I've been listening to it non-stop. |

Dunno if this was just fanfiction or actual lore, but I remember reading this lil story that said that Ankh, during his time with King OOO, met this blind girl and the he asked what the girl's desire was and it was to see. So, Ankh used his Greeed powers or something to cure the girl's blindness, but then when the girl saw Ankh she, I think either committed suicide or ran away.
Where did this come from? |

What sets Ankh apart and leads him to his betrayal to the other Greeeds begins when he meets a blind girl. This girl dreams of being able to a beautiful scenery accompanied with bluebirds. Ankh seems to be able to connect to the blind girl. Eventually they become friends through their mutual desire to see the world in a beautiful perspective, even though Ankh hates humans. Ankh tells the girl that he’s actually a bird. The girl believes him and asks “Mr. Bird, what color are you?” Ankh responds with “I’m red…” leaving her rather disappointed as he’s not blue. Eventually Ankh tells her that he can help her see, and creates the Condor Yummy through her desire to see. The Condor Yummy attacks random people gouges their eyes out and gives them to the girl. She opens her eyes and sees corpses with their eyes gouged out, causing her to lose her mind and go insane. She no longer has the desire to see again, and the Condor Yummy disintegrates into Cell Medals. Shortly after she dies and asks Ankh to once again become the King of Birds and protect the weak. Ankh feels bad for not being able to save her, in a similar way to Eiji and the girl he couldn’t save during the war. |

It is quite the most Lupin thing in the world. I get quite picky about bluebeat and 2 tone, but this never fails to make me smile. |

I do slightly prefer the ending theme but I'm not a massive fan of either, unfortunately though that Tokyo Ska band might actually be really good, I don't know, I always thought OOO did ska influences better!

Okay, next question for everyone. We've had the biker suit style for most of the Showa riders sans Black who was straight-up a metal hero(heck, a good number of the staff had metal hero backgrounds for that show), the bio-themed 90s movie rider trio, then we got the wetsuit+armor combo for the majority of Heisei Riders. And Zero-One showed off a less-armored style of a suit while Saber is trying something different from Zero-One. So far my observation is that Reiwa for now is either still trying new things to find a new template for suit designing or just decided to not really have a template at all. That said, would y'all like to see Reiwa follow a certain format when it comes to suit designing like they did for the Heisei riders or scrap that and just try something new every time? |

They'd keep the base rider design wholly different from the last, however, the one thing that stayed was the "masked" design. I think they're hinging on the whole "Kamen" thing by having most of the rider's face features be one the dead front, with the rest of the "helmet" just be the undersuit. http://ukiyaseed.weebly.com/uploads/...ailer_orig.jpg |
After I catch up Kira Mage Ranger what would be the best Rider Series to start with? I'm finishing the Ranger shows. Should be finished in 2022 with the Ranger stuff

I just discovered the reason Hina from OOO had super strength (beyond a few gags). The plan was to have her become the Kyoryu Greeed, but they changed it because the story was getting too dark as it was.

Does anyone know why Gold Phoenix has a red and blue motif?
I've noticed it elsewhere like with Zygarde, and no amount of Googling has helped me reach an answer. |

I've found this listing on Mandarake for CSM "RIDERCARD OF DECADRIVER", and it confuses me. I'd assume it's some sort of alternate release of the Rider Card set that has all his extra cards and some binders, but that would surprise me since the Manda listing has it for 3000 Yen. It also doesn't seem to be Diend's Kaijinride extra card, and I can't find anything on it outside of Mandarake. Anyone have a clue?

That's pretty good, actually; if one of your cards goes missing or gets broken it means you don't have to shell out for an entire other Decadriver to replace it. Or maybe you're happy with your DX Decadriver but find the DX cards lacking. Just pretty neat in general! |
Probably forgot, but why was the resulting key that the Ark made when Ikazuchi hacked onto the satellite was a Wolf key? Of course, because toy-wise it's an intended upgrade for Vulcan, but what about the lore reason?
Closest I can think of was it's probably explained in Project Thouser but can't recall it yet. |
You know having watched Project Thouser I think they skipped over that detail entirely... it's been a bit since I did though.
Maybe the Ark wanted to make a Key for their fourth member, but Naki was so ingrained into Fuwa at the time it just said "Wolf? Wolf." and boom. |
I'm not sure if there was ever a given reason in the show, but you could probably rationalise it as being for Naki, given they also have a wolf theme.
Edit - Snap. |
Yeah, nothing's outright said but Japanese Wolf made me realise that Assault Wolf was meant for Naki -- and furthermore was a hint at them being in Fuwa's brain.
|
Yeah, it's absolutely because of Naki. I wish I could point to every little hint off the top of my head, but the show basically might as well have outright said it.
The wolf motif itself, I think you can easily rationalize either as that somehow always being Naki's thing too or simply because it was made to be used by Vulcan to begin with (note back in its debut how not surprised Horobi is when Fuwa gets it working), and it works either way. |

Speaking of, when *does* Naki get put into Fuwa's head? I want to say during his surgery post Horobi in the early episodes, but I can't remember if that was ever said or just implied. It could easily have been when the chip got put inside him, for all I remember.
|
Quote:
Edit: the chips had been in there heads once Yaiba and Fuwa were part of AIMs. None of them probably remember when, since both were probably brainwashed after the surgery. It's how they were able to transform, after all. |

Ah, cool! I havn't seen Project Thouser, so I must have seen someone writing about it and half-memorised that, explains why I couldn't remember it properly. Thanks!
|
Yeah, Project Thouser gives some nice behind the scenes stuff going on, like how Horobi got his keys and belt with Naki smuggling them, how they lol'd into Fuwa's head via Gai, some nice scenes with Williamson, how and why Jin was revived (apart from what the MBJR V-Cin says), and Fuwa going around talking with a not-Fuwa voice.
Edit: I just kind of wish there was more to it? A part 3 or something? One that gives us a Proto-Thouser with Gai testing his keys on a Shotriser or Forceriser? |
The most important thing is that it gave us the name Williamson

Hey what's the deal with Aruto's dad? like he feels really important, yet according to the wiki he only appears in like 5 episodes, and I feel like I've seen 3 of those having watched only the first 6ish episodes. So do they like talk about him at all? do they ever have aruto get him to laugh?
|
Quote:
Aruto never got him to laugh or smile, but his actions led to Aruto being able to make other Humagears do that, instead. |
He barely appears in the show and when he does it's almost only his death scene, but he is basically important in two ways. One that concerns the transformation belt and one that concerns an important decision that Aruto makes.
