With W getting an anime, I would imagine Shout Factory or Funimation will release it soon. I want Arrow to release all three 90s Kamen Rider movies in one set because they do an amazing job with their releases. Not to mention, the UK Toku fans can buy it without getting a Region Free player.

I am interested in seeing how Shout Factory would’ve subbed the series, though. Same goes with Faiz in that regard.

A 3-set of the 90s movies is very much my dream with all this! Glad to see someone else share it; I'd love to have those on my shelf :)

I think the series that are most likely for them to do now are Den-O, W, OOO and Gaim. Those all seem very safe popular picks for the western fanbase. Perhaps Build, Black and Blade as well; and some shorter things like Amazon, ZX and Decade. That said they did really surprise me with the Ryuki announcement, so who knows!

He already got his own special though, and it even takes place after Vulcan/Valkyrie? Idk what else they can do with Thouser, haven’t watched The Presidents

If we ever get anything, it'll be another TTFC special that's a follow-up to The Presidents imo. Vulcan/Valkyrie is where 01's full story ends, from this point forward he's a legacy rider

That was literally episode 8. Sento mentions her in episode 40. Her actress was out for most of the series because she had to get surgery for cervical cancer. Unfortunately she has a very long history with cancer.

Also, I said "had" jokingly cuz Sento's basically a relativeless vagabond in the new world along with Banjou. The Shinobu and Kyoka there would be related to the Takumi Katsuragi in that world.

Revice is absolutely the first one where he has parents who aren't dead or evil. It's a pretty big accomplishment!

It's honestly bizarre how "Evil dad" has become such a common trope, and it's almost never the main Rider, because they're almost all orphans (or as good as - seriously, are Kouta's parents ever mentioned? Or Touma's?)

While he wasn't on speaking terms with them, I'm pretty sure Eiji's parents were both still alive during the events of Kamen Rider OOO. I'm also pretty sure Wataru's mom was still alive by the end of Kiva as well.

And his dad was still alive too, as seen in one of the better episodes of Hibiki post writer changes

Probably somewhere along the lines of Lawful/Neutral Evil, since his dad's villainous actions were to boost his political career. Though I guess encouraging a civil war would also be Chaotic Evil.

So, I'm 8 episodes into Zero-One, and I noticed that Isamu still has to force open his Progrise Keys.
So, uh, why hasn't he been given authorization by Yui?
Like, so far the most egregious was Kong, which she herself gave him, but he still apparently wasn't authorized to use?

So you know how Yua transforms right? That's the correct way to authorize and transform. Fuwa just chooses to do it his way because yes. Like he's seen her transform at this point, but he just chooses to transform his usual way still.

I know you're early in on the show, but Fuwa's entire character is driven by the fact he can and will do things his own way. That's just Fuwa.

This includes using the Shotriser wrong. Yua tries to explain it to him at one point, too. At multiple points he may or may not have been given authorization, but you're supposed to authorize the Progrise Key by inserting it into the Shotriser first - just like how Yua does it.

It also makes a lot more sense with the Progrise Keys he gets later on.

I getcha. It does make sense now that I realize he's doing it wrong the entire time as well. I was just assuming that Yua's transformation method was just to give her a distinct way of using the same tool. Knowing now that Fuwa is likely authorized and just doesn't do it right makes more sense, now.

The other funny thing about Fuwa's whole shtick is that since the ForceRisers work the way they do, Aruto and Yua are literally the only people in that initial group of five Riders who are using those Progrise Keys in the intended fashion.

You can extend that to 2/6 as well by including Ichigata!

Build: Kento should give Cross-Z, Grease, Rogue & MadRogue their own BuildPhones. Build has the lion, Grease with the robot Fullbottle, what of Cross-Z, Rogue, MadRogue & Evol?

Zero-One: AIMs, MetsubouJinrai & ZAIA should have their own rider machines too other than just Hiden Intelligence with Zero-One/Zero-Two.

I think it was that way in the Early Heisei (all the Riders in Agito and Kiva had their own machines) but then road laws in Japan started getting stricter so usage of bikes dwindled. For marketing purposes it was probably easier to at the very least ensure that the main Rider had a bike. Enter alternative forms of transportation like giant robots, dragons and hover bikes so that the Riders actually rode something, even if said riding only took up 2 minutes of the entire show.

Now THIS is a topic I like! In particular I really wish Vulcan had got his own Rider Machine. Maybe have an AIMs-shared bike, a MBJR-shared bike etc?

As for Saber, he's got the Diago Speedy while the others just got the Gatrike. Wish we got something more.

I would like to see a more proper sci-fi looking bike, like the bike from Akira or Tron.

I think just generally following each team's aesthetics -- AIMs' would be a bit more professional and militaristic while MBJR's would be very messy and cobbled together.

While I would like to see most riders get their own bike, I can understand why they don't (With it typically having to do with the fact that some characters were never intended to be riders, so where would they get said bike)

That said, I am in the boat of preferring characters to have their own unique bikes, rather than just a generic one. There's a reason why whenever Ryuki shows up, he's seen riding Dragranzer rather than the Ride Shooter :lol
