Could also ask why he didn't use level billion. Or why most Riders don't just start out with their final form right away. Go down this line of questioning and you'll find no end :p

I have always explained this to myself by the fact that the final forms exhaust the user and therefore they are saved for the finisher. |

Objectively, Dangerous Zombie absolutely provides Kuroto more firepower than using solely his Proto Might Gashat or its Level 0 variant. The catch is, if you read Dangerous Zombie's suit description out there, you can find that the suit was tailored-made to be an invincible suit when the Life Gauge is at 0. But with Emu reprogrammed Dangerous Zombie, with a full Life Gauge back, the suit became nothing more than a flimsy skin or armor for Genm to use. This is the reason why we saw Genm almost took a OHK from every single attack in the series. Yes Genm in Level X-0 had more statistical power up but that gave him a pitiful defense in return. This was not a problem when Kuroto had 99 lives in the series that he could burn up with no problem. But in these future installments, where Kuroto only had a single life and even becoming a much less durable Humagear later on, using a Gashat that provides less protection and survivability is ill-advised. This is even coming from Kuroto who quote-unqoute the Game Master in this franchise. Even Kuroto didn't use back those lower-level Gashats when he attained Genm Musou. |
RKF Grease is known for breakages on his hips, right? I vaguely remember it but wasn't able to find specifics right now so I was wondering if anyone knew better.
On that topic, are there any other Toku toys known for breakages? |
Grease is mostly because of gold plastic syndrome I believe.
Which is I think gold plastic is a lot more fragile and breaks a lot easily. So any Toku toy that's like gold in a way would probably be just like that. While not exactly breaking, I do know people had trouble with the FullFull Bottle in terms of it activating at the slightest touch or something like that. |
Gold Plastic Syndrome isn't a thing in every gold plastic though, just specific types. Could be that Grease got unlucky.
|
GPS being a thing with all or most Gold Plastic is a misconception! It effects a very specific type of plastic that was mostly just seen in the late 80s to mid-90s, with a small handful of exceptions running past that in the 00s. 'Gold Plastic Syndrome' is itself a bit of a misnomer, as the common running thread is instead in swirly/metallic/sparkly plastic which has for instance been seen in grey plastic -- it's just that it's most common in gold.
Simply put I would be very very surprised if RKF Grease was down to GPS, and it's certainly not a worry for any other Toku toy that uses gold. |
You learn something new every day.

the GP and SG versions of toku collectible items have notably weaker engineering points than their DX counterparts.
Non-DX Shift Cars for example have clips inside them that break pretty easily, but have little effect on the actual operation. If you shake one and hear a rattle, it probably broke. |

Which of the girls do you think is the next female rider alongside Na-Go? Tsumuri or Sara?
I for one hope its Sara. For if she becomes a rider herself alongside her brother, what'll be her motif? Like the others, I for one see her entry in a skirt!
|
I already recommended that Sara could share a motif with an animal-themed Donbrothers character.

I have a question for those who buy toys. Now that Geats has a Fever Buckle that can grant other buckles' abilities, why buy those other buckles themselves? I mean, I can still understand collectors who want absolutely everything related to the show, but what's the point of toys?
|
Well, take away the in-story function for a moment and just focus on the toys themselves -- the main draws will be electronic and kinetic function and aesthetics. In other words what the toy does and how it looks; I certainly know a fair few people who have been drawn to the Desire Driver just by Beat than anything else.
On the other hand if you're looking at it from a pure cosplay angle... well, Fever is more a workaround to a form rather than the main way to get it. If someone wanted to cosplay Punkjack they'd probably go for the Monster buckle first since that's part of his usual look. I could definitely see someone using the Fever buckle but probably just as a fun option in the same way someone might use the Decadriver in their Wizard or Kabuto cosplay |
Wonder if we’ll ever see a new Kamen Rider series where it’s like Batman Beyond? How would you all picture it?
The old man suffers from a bad condition and quits, until someone young man becomes his successor in the new future. But how? What would be a good concept and gimmick? |

The ideal option would be to return one of the riders of the Showa era, even if not in the role of the same hero. This would also make it possible to use the secondary rider as a replacement hero and thereby create his conflict with the main one - the successor hero. It would also be great if successor in the first arc would use the old mentor costume and only then get his own. Then it would be possible to use the concept of "larva-butterfly" proven by Inazuman, adding more phases to it for the sake of selling toys. Also, this is a wonderful origin for the first female main rider (I believe she will be, but not after Geats). And it is immediately remembered that in addition to the son, Hiroshi Fujioka has also three daughters. |
And my concept. What about an ant based rider? But not just based, but actually being. Suppose a society of monsters is based on the principle of an anthill, where everyone is assigned his role. These creatures are preparing to invade and take over the Earth. The protagonist is one of them no different from the others in his caste. But one day he either faces injustice, or tries to help his friends, or begins to doubt the structure of their society. Simply put, he goes beyond the role assigned to him, on a whim he says: "Henshin" and turns into a rider. After that, he becomes enemy No. 1 for the entire "anthill", escapes to the world of people, finds new friends, convinces old ones of his rightness and fights to save the Earth and change his world. Something while writing very strong vibes Alain from "Ghost" felt, but it's not bad.

This was shared in the "Funny Toku Images Thread".
There is a lot to unpack here. Too much for me, really. I'll ask piecemeal questions to avoid sheer overload. "Cursed Kamen Rider Manga"? |

Which Geats riders should have V-Cinemas later on in the future?

Dusting off this thread.
The 4 Reiwa seasons so far have had a butt ton of riders. If you were to make a special where you created teams of let's say 4 to 6 reiwa riders, who would you put on which team, and why? Also, what would you want from a Reiwa Generations look back/send off movie/mini? |
A fun little team up film I'd like to see is a Kaijin Rider crossover.
Any of the 4 MetsubouJinrai Riders (Or just...MetsubouJinrai) from Zero-One, Desast from Saber, Vice and Crimson Vail from Revice (And maybe Evil and Lovekov, but only if Lovekov gets a legit Rider form), and Nadge-Sparrow (With a few Jyamato Riders) from Geats. Throw in Momotaros if you don't have faith in them being able to carry a crossover on their own, and bam. An all kaijin rider team up |

Seriously though, I think the sheer number of riders is partly due to Zi-O's experience where the main characters of some of the original shows were unavailable. If we talk about the team Reiwa, then I would take Yuri from Saber, Hiromi from Revice, Isa from Zero-One (well, for the show to be popular for sure) and (now it will be unexpected) Dapan from Geats. He's just a schoolboy, and therefore the closest to Gotchard. Well, with him the interaction in the team will be more interesting. |
