I would still love to see a OVA series based on Spirits. A OVA series can work since it would be market to a older audience and would be released on home video, so Bandai won't need to have two toylines going on at once.

Well, Kiva's various issues that render it an "Apollo 13" series could be amended by an anime adaptation, like explaining Shudoran, the Time Door or how the Fuestles work, and maybe even showing how Yuri died and resurrecting Mio.

Plus I'd love more Kiva stuff. Kiva is tops.

I believe you worded this poorly, you mean the characters ultimate demise, not his death. Because in this show the protagonist is already dead and I do believe Spectre shares a similar fate. I like the theory that he lays in a coma and his brain is currently dead but they still keep his body alive so his heart is still beating.

That’s where the “Doki Doki” in his Spectre jingle comes form and why he has EKG-lines all over his suit.

But speculating about a characters ultimate end so early in the show and just because his Eyecon-souls died in a rather brutal manner? Nah.
