Kagami was the one thing about Kabuto I actually enjoyed. The rest was just the kind of: "So bad that it's entertaining"-kind of thing.

It was so much fun, and Tendou was so fun in his perfection.

The only real reason I liked tendou was because I knew for a fact that he would break and his perfection bullshit would crumble when he did. I know that sounds very sadistic and psychotic of me to say but it's true. I got a lot of joy seeing tendou just break under his own bullshit.

Now as for kabuto the seriesseries; I liked it because the zecters and the fact that kagami, tsuguri, kageyama, and Yaguruma were the only one's who did what they did for understandable reasons. Well yaguruma's was more dark but still.

It was nice to see Tendou lose to Dark Kabuto, too~

I love Zolda. One of my favorites. But I honestly can't call him one of the most human characters.

I wouldn’t call him well-written either... granted I'm only at episode 33 or so, but I had my fair share of Kitaoka already. He's a good character, but well written? Eh.

He does some great slapstick though.

I mean his actions, motivations, personality, the way his story ends. He is incredibly human.

And come on, his character arc was amazing and satisfying.

Could be. Who knows? We should find out what he actually looks like eventually.

I haven't seen either yet, but most people seem to hate Kiva and love Den-O lol

I like Kiva, but it is more flawed than Den-O. I went Den-O first, because I watched them in chronological order.

Kiva. And if you want you can marathon it through October like I do for thematic reasons (Monster Mash).

I would say den-o just to do.it in chronological order.

Den-O would be the longest time investment of the pair. You're looking at an entire series and atleast seven or eight movies. The story is good, but Momotaros steals the entire show. In a good way. Kiva is something you might enjoy. A series plus like two movies. But the plot has holes, ideas never get flushed out or explained, and not even the lovable characters save it.

But Kiva does have the best designs in all of the franchise.

Eh...I'll give Kiva Ixa and Kiva Emperore and Dark Kiva. The rest...not so much.

Oh, absolutely. Ixa, Saga, Dark Kiva, Kiva himself, Emperor Form. And the Fangire are all beautiful. Just a shame the story could never live up to the designs.

Yes. It does. Especially Kiva, Emperor Mode Kiva, Dark Kiva and IXA. But that's about it. Oh, and the music is pretty good if I do say so myself.

Rey, Arc, Saga and Kiva-la (by extension) are good too. Saga looks like he's made out of a cathedral with all those lines and stained glass details.

Plus I love the Fangire designs. Well, except for Octopus.

Saga and Kiva (standard suit) are my favorite designs in Kiva and some of my favorites overall.

My favorite kiva designs are dark kiva, regular kiva base form, saga, and rey.

Is Den-O a serious or funny series or in the middle of them?

Funny. It has a few serious moments, but it is overwhelmingly a comedy.

It has some good, serious stuff in it, but it's also has lots of humor through it. It's a really solid show.
