I think it's great. Reminds me of Avatar the Last Airbender. It's known from the beginning that there is a time limit to complete the ultimate goal before an otherwise inevitable event occurs. Make things seem more urgent and the progression of the quest more meaningful.

I honestly don't expect it to play a huge role in the series outside of a handful of episodes and the finale.

My saddest death was Phillip because the way they played it out was well done. I dont care about the fact they brought him back to life as its not about Philip, its. about the Sonozakis.

How do you like when the Kamen Rider shows are released? Back with Kuuga - Decade with them coming out in January, W-Wizard with them coming out late summer or Gaim - current coming out in the early Fall. I do like the new release schedule since it can give me time to catch up.

I think it's fine. I like that, should you dislike that year's Rider or Sentai, you don't have to wait for them to both end just to get a taste of the next one.

I didn't start watching the shows live until W, so I never really experienced the February starts. It honestly doesn't matter a ton to me when the new series starts, though. It's a year-long ride either way.

I did kinda miss having the shows start in January. It give something to look forward too in the new year and it was cool having both a Rider & Sentai show start around the same time.

I dont prefer one or the other I think both where fine. But I do like what they are doing now more just from the toy collector perspective. That way you dont have both major toylines start so close to each other.

I like this release schedule because there's pretty much always something to look forward to. The hype machine for the next sentai heats up just as the luster has worn off the current Kamen Rider, and vice versa. The constant hype over something definitely helps keep me invested year-round

I'm not so sure about that. I'd guess it is still set after the finale but the Rider fighting against random Roidmudes is all done in flashbacks. The setting itself is after the finale; Shinnosuke finds the Newton Eyecon and investigates the re-appearance of the three Roidmudes and meets Ghost.

Because if the crossover would be set before the finale, Shinnosuke would've recognized Ghost in his dream/hallucination/trip to Helheim.

How come the traffic police officer didn't recognize his face in the news at the times Chase was shown on tv? Especially on ep 26?

After seeing Mach use Chaser's signal bike for a fusion form, I was thinking, can Chaser do that with Mach? Or can Chaser use Deadheat and create a triple rider fusion or Deadheat Mach using Chaser?

I dont think so. Banno said the Mach System wasnt even supposed to be able to aquire such a form.

Rinna Build the Chaser System based on the Mach system so unless she made Chaser compatible with Machs Signal Bikes I dont think this would be possible.

I thought Chase's belt was just a copy of the Mach Driver Rinna made to experiment on, and Kiriko gave it to Chase. Perhaps I'm remembering this wrong.

It was. But the Signal Chaser and Signal Ax were still developed at a later time. So she had to modify the Mach Driver to work with the Signal Chaser.

Has anyone ever had a rouzing game of poker using the Blade cards?

1) Why didn't they create a new suit for Mach after syncing the Chaser signal bike? It would've looked like a Mach version of Mashin Chaser.

2) Drive felt like 555 to me... will Ghost feel like Blade?

1. Because they probably ran out of budget. They couldnt even make real Drive Shoes for Gold Drive anymore. They just used Slippers that had a sticker on them to look like the Drive Shoes.

2. Subjective perception on your side. I got nothing 555-esque from Drive.

Cost reasons probably. Making a completely new suit for such a brief moment in the second to last episode isn’t worth it.

I do agree however that the form is beyond lazy. Even for its short time on screen. These kitbashs can look pretty good, like Yomotsuheguri for example, if they actually put some effort into it and repaint it properly.

Would the form be colored properly, together with some added paint details and maybe a new color for the visor this form could've looked pretty cool.

Since you’re the first one to make that comparison and since we can't possibly know how a yet unaired show will feel like for you specifically I’d say no :p

I think what happened here was that they couldnt repaint it because it was the only Mach Suit available. They usually have two suits per Rider, one for close ups and one for the stunt scenes. So what I took from it is that one of those suits (most likely the stunt suit) got damaged during filming. So they couldnt repaint it since they needed a white Mach suit for other shoots. Like the upcoming corssover. Since making another one they could use for that was probably not in their budget.

I never noticed that. That's kind of pathetic that they had put stickers on slippers for Gold Drive. I thought that since the Gold Drive suit was a repaint of Protodrive, it had the real shoes.

Yup its hard to see but there are scenes where its noticeable.

The fact that they had no spare suits is probably also the reason that the MP Machs never went anywhere...

I'll be honest: I completely forgot about those. They totally missed the opportunity for the SPU to Henshin and go into the final fight together. Buh!

That was probably my biggest disappointment about the finale of Drive. The MP suits were wasted.

What happened to Shinnosuke and kriko in the future of their life?

They got old, and, at some point, probably died. That is as specific as it's going to get...for now anyway.
