What is this from? Is there some sort of special where they both show up, or is it just a promo image?

I assume it is just for publicity sake? Probably no different from those photos of Denjiman and Sun Vulcan together. As for where it is from I assume it is from 1970s Terebi-kun or something equivalent.

Reading about Faiz's epic misunderstandings has really stoked my curiosity... Could someone give me some examples (with spoiler tags ofcourse), because even if I do end watching it, I want to be prepared :lol.

SPIDER-MAN / KAMEN RIDER image is likely promo from when their shows ran together in a kid's programming block - just like today with Sentai / Rider. They definitely didn't do a movie together (wish they did!).

They didn't air at the same time, though. Supaidaman premiered in 1978, which was four years after V3 ended.

Does V3 show up in Spider-Man, or something like that? It looks like they're fighting enemies, as opposed to just a publicity shot.

He doesn't. These are just publicity shots, though I don't know why they went to such great lengths with them.

One relatively (or well, completely) irrelevant example is the fact that two characters were in a sort of relationship through texts at the beginning of the show, but only knew each other's first names. The two characters end up meeting and interacting a lot throughout the course of the show, but it literally takes over 40 episodes for them to find out, because somehow they never ever thought to ask or heard someone else call them by their names. Again, this is a pretty irrelevant example all things said, but this level of pointless and contrived is pretty standard for Inoue's writing.

Well, Gaim had Takatora not realizing that Micchy is Ryugen despite the evidence staring him right in the face and everyone (included me) loved Gaim, so maybe Faiz really isn't that bad :lol.
