I am so glad you asked this, because I recently went back through the first 6 episodes of Agito in anticipation of you starting it (also because there's no bad time to watch Agito), and unfortunately, it seems "less horrifying" is the choice you're going to have to make here.

GomenRider's subs were what I went with when I watched Agito, and while, as a "scrub", the way everything is written sounds very natural and good, the actual dialogue is occasionally totally incorrect to what was said, in some really ugly ways. I went and took a look at TV-N's versions and skimmed through all the mistakes I saw GomenRider make, and TV-N actually got most of it right, to their credit, with the trade-off being worse video quality and some wooden wording.

Granted, this is only based on half a dozen episodes, but a lot of early Heisei shows don't have particularly great sets of subs, and it seems like Agito is very much part of that.

Yeah; thats a real big issue with kamen rider and super sentai I have found; the only group that subs most things is TV-Nihon and they are pretty terrible; I wish they would just go away and let a group that actually can sub things properly take over, since we really need a less moronic group to cover kamen rider. Genmcorp is REALLY good though; I hope they continue to grow.
