Does anyone know why Gold Phoenix has a red and blue motif?
I've noticed it elsewhere like with Zygarde, and no amount of Googling has helped me reach an answer. |

I've found this listing on Mandarake for CSM "RIDERCARD OF DECADRIVER", and it confuses me. I'd assume it's some sort of alternate release of the Rider Card set that has all his extra cards and some binders, but that would surprise me since the Manda listing has it for 3000 Yen. It also doesn't seem to be Diend's Kaijinride extra card, and I can't find anything on it outside of Mandarake. Anyone have a clue?

That's pretty good, actually; if one of your cards goes missing or gets broken it means you don't have to shell out for an entire other Decadriver to replace it. Or maybe you're happy with your DX Decadriver but find the DX cards lacking. Just pretty neat in general! |
Probably forgot, but why was the resulting key that the Ark made when Ikazuchi hacked onto the satellite was a Wolf key? Of course, because toy-wise it's an intended upgrade for Vulcan, but what about the lore reason?
Closest I can think of was it's probably explained in Project Thouser but can't recall it yet. |
You know having watched Project Thouser I think they skipped over that detail entirely... it's been a bit since I did though.
Maybe the Ark wanted to make a Key for their fourth member, but Naki was so ingrained into Fuwa at the time it just said "Wolf? Wolf." and boom. |
I'm not sure if there was ever a given reason in the show, but you could probably rationalise it as being for Naki, given they also have a wolf theme.
Edit - Snap. |
Yeah, nothing's outright said but Japanese Wolf made me realise that Assault Wolf was meant for Naki -- and furthermore was a hint at them being in Fuwa's brain.
|
Yeah, it's absolutely because of Naki. I wish I could point to every little hint off the top of my head, but the show basically might as well have outright said it.
The wolf motif itself, I think you can easily rationalize either as that somehow always being Naki's thing too or simply because it was made to be used by Vulcan to begin with (note back in its debut how not surprised Horobi is when Fuwa gets it working), and it works either way. |
