I want to do a poll about secondary Riders but the poll only allows 13 choices, so I'm just gonna ask you guys here: Who do you think is the most iconic secondary Riders, and the one who should be representing the secondary Riders?

For iconic I would say(not based on personal preferences) Knight, Kaixa, Garren(for many reasons), Zeronos, Diend, Accel, Meteor, Baron.

Kamen Rider Ryuki may as well be retitled Kamen Rider Knight considering how much main character duty he pulled. There's being a deuteragonist and then there's functionally being the main character without the billing.

If that's the case, Kuuga should be called Ichijou: Feat. Kuuga for who did what...

I want to say Riderman since he was the original secondary Rider and set the tone for all the ones that followed, but his arc was an important but relatively minor part of V3. So I'd probably go with Knight, Zeronos, or maybe Accel. All three are really well-known and representative of the friend/rival relationship that the best main/secondary Rider relationships represent. I'd also mention Meteor, but I feel like he's less iconic overall than the ones I listed.

I also think there's a lot to say for G3, Gills, Garren, and Chalice, but those were multi-Rider shows that played up the various relationships more (yes, Ryuki was also multi-Rider, but the Ren/Shinji dynamic was still very prominent).

What if the Heisei Rider series ended with Ryuki? I remember reading that Ryuki was doing poorly with ratings and that the Ryuki final movie was made just in case if the show got canceled. Do you think that they would have keep the Kamen Rider series dead for a long time again or would have try again a few years later.

If so they probably would bring it back years later, take it back to the drawing board first.
As long as it has merchandise potential it will be back.
And I can see them bringing back metal heroes if the above happens.

I suspect this site would be mainly Power Rangers and Super Sentai fans. Kamen Rider would just be an obscure older series that nobody subs like Metal Heroes.

That sounds like a neat idea. Honestly, the WizarDriver is just a good belt, since it cuts out the sometime clunky step of putting some trinket in the belt to do things. I mean, you have to put the ring on so that's also inconvenient but still.

I feel like a Ghost/OOO combo could be cool. Triple Damashiis or something. And their gimmicks are both round so...

Also, rings are faster to change than opening the device to exchange things. Or in OOO's case slide the coons in the correct slot. Pull off, put on, hold over. Three quick motions and BAM! Baddies go bye-bye. :lol

No, May was normal back when the new Rider show premiered in late August/early September. We won't hear about the next series until June, maybe July.And even then we'll probably have a month of vague rumors and blurry photos of stunt actors' backs taken from two blocks away.

They probably will do some random obscure motif that involves the number 45.

Like we've all stated before Sun, we mean a Rider where the whole THEME is Dinosaurs. Not just one form. Hence why we started a project last year to create our own Tokunation Rider. We voted and it came out for Dinosaur Theme.

Has Toei done a ninja rider? Becaude if they have, I can't think of them at the moment.

Have they done anything centered around video games? I understand they'd never be able to get the OK from Sony and Nintendo for designs and whatnot. But, they could think of something and it'd be interesting.

Granted Fourze had the Playstation images, but they weren't there because of that. I want actual video game themes incorporated.

ZX is probably the only ninja-themed Rider, and even that was a minor theme. It'll probably be a while when we get a ninja Kamen Rider since Sentai did that recently.

That's brilliant. Perhaps the forms themselves could be based on video game genres? RPG, FPS, Fighter. It'd be awesome to see the forms based on consoles, but once again they'd never be able to pull that off unless they came up with their own made up ones.

RPG form makes everyone in the fight take slow turns attacking each other. What I really want though, is a horse themed Rider. Different forms based on different mythological horses, like Kelpie, Pegasus, Sleipnir, ect. I think it would be awesome.

Is Shoji Yonemura the Vince Russo of Toei?

To those non-wrestling fan who doesn't know Vince Russo. Vince Russo was a writer for WWF, WCW and TNA.

He is considered the most hated figure in professional wrestling in not a good way! His Pole Match was not everyone's favorite match stipulation! Most people think Vince Russo was responsible for the fall of WCW! TNA Fans would keep chanting "Fire Russo"

Shoji Yonemura is notorious for 3 bad SHT films. He have no respect for Super Sentai! Even Hiroshi Fujioka dislike the way his character was being portrayed in Heisei Rider vs Showa Rider! No wonder Toshiki Inoue will be writing Kamen Rider 1 over Shoji because Hiroshi Fujioka apparently was NOT a fan of Shoji Yonemura. I bet he wouldn't reprise his character if Shoji was a writer instead!

I feel SHT was more of WWF's FAILED STUPID INVASION ANGLE! OH MAN! I need to stop making a wrestling reference to a Japanese show!

At this point I honestly don't know if I dislike Yonemura's writing more than Inoue's. Inoue's obsession with melodrama and forced conflict is legendarily terrible, but at least he's capable of some variation and he's actually done some good stuff outside of non-Agito Rider. Yonemura's biggest sin is that he only know how to write one plot. It got old ages ago, but at least we still got the Showa vs. Heisei movie out of him, which is possibly my favorite Rider movie ever.

This is how you treat someone getting their face cut up? What really gets to me is how it seems this brand of goofy comedy could infect any moment in any season these days. There's an underlying demand to add a lighthearted edge that I think doesn't just hurt seasons individually, but collectively, seasons will feel less varied from each other in tone.
