Now that Revice has shown us some of George's figure collection, i have to ask; is there any info on how he got a hold of this stuff in-universe? After all, since its implied that riders exist in this universe as actual people, someone has to be making these toys and doing enough research to get these things accurate to their "real-life" counterparts.

The way I see it, either A) one or multiple companies are seeing evidence of riders and have decided to capitalize on it with merchandise, or B) George is creating/commissioning all of this stuff himself.

Slightly related follow up question: how likely is it that George's collection is considered as a "business expense" due to him using them as bases for the Genomes?

From what I've gathered it was planned to reveal very early on that the entire Kamen Rider franchise exists in the world of Revice as it does in ours - as fiction. So they have the same merchandise we do, aside from the Revice stuff of course.

But apparently that was decided to be too confusing for the target audience? So instead they just explained, well, nothing. Although the Riders within the test tubes in the OP are still a bit weird.

I think it's just a bit of cute fun. Like when some of the later Heisei shows had random merch like christmas cards and movie pre-order figures just in the show

DJ Sagara made all the Beat Riders sign merch contracts with him in exchange for promotion, the Ex-Aid stuff was all pre-order bonuses for Kamen Rider Chronicle: Game of the Year complete edition, Takeru traded away his likeness rights in exchange for coming back from the dead again, and similar stories exist for all Riders!
