Grease is mostly because of gold plastic syndrome I believe.
Which is I think gold plastic is a lot more fragile and breaks a lot easily. So any Toku toy that's like gold in a way would probably be just like that. While not exactly breaking, I do know people had trouble with the FullFull Bottle in terms of it activating at the slightest touch or something like that. |
Gold Plastic Syndrome isn't a thing in every gold plastic though, just specific types. Could be that Grease got unlucky.

GPS being a thing with all or most Gold Plastic is a misconception! It effects a very specific type of plastic that was mostly just seen in the late 80s to mid-90s, with a small handful of exceptions running past that in the 00s. 'Gold Plastic Syndrome' is itself a bit of a misnomer, as the common running thread is instead in swirly/metallic/sparkly plastic which has for instance been seen in grey plastic -- it's just that it's most common in gold.
Simply put I would be very very surprised if RKF Grease was down to GPS, and it's certainly not a worry for any other Toku toy that uses gold. |

the GP and SG versions of toku collectible items have notably weaker engineering points than their DX counterparts.
Non-DX Shift Cars for example have clips inside them that break pretty easily, but have little effect on the actual operation. If you shake one and hear a rattle, it probably broke. |

Which of the girls do you think is the next female rider alongside Na-Go? Tsumuri or Sara?
I for one hope its Sara. For if she becomes a rider herself alongside her brother, what'll be her motif? Like the others, I for one see her entry in a skirt!
|
I already recommended that Sara could share a motif with an animal-themed Donbrothers character.
