The first time I watched through Fourze as it was airing, I thought Yuki was incredibly irritating. After a second watch, I still think she's annoying, but not quite as unbearable as I remember. Then again I have no problem with Onari, or the majority of other obnoxious characters Kamen Rider has seen for that matter, so maybe I've just grown a tolerance for that sort of thing over the years.

Kiriya was pretty frustrating, and the conclusion of Faiz was so terrible that I had to take a long walk and vent afterwards.

THe cruelest, yet merciful, death IMO, was the death of Hase in Gaim. It was pretty much a mercy killing, but it was emotionally cruel to the other Riders.

In 555 I thought Kiba's death was pretty intense, and for that matter so was Osada's. And depending on your interpretation Takumi too. I think 555 is cruel simply by the merit of how many main characters it kills.

Without a shadow of a doubt Yuka's death in 555 was just heart wrenching and brutal. One layer of this comes from the fact that she was a really likeable character and was easy to connect and understand. The other is that she was pretty brutally killed. She wasn't stabbed, she wasn't kicked or punched or slashed or anything of the regular rider norm. She was shot down by civilians. With regular old weapons. Add to it her relationship with Keitaro and how badly her death messed up Kiba and well yeah.

Yeah, that one was also cruel for me while watching it. It was one of the deaths that made me cry the most.

When we go for cruel = brutal, the I guess Sid from Gaim got the short end of the stick. Not that he didn't deserve it, but I still found it kinda shocking, being smashed and all.

Also, major Ryuki spoilers here, Shinji's death really got me, even though we knew what would happen.

I thought Imperor's was pretty sad. He wasn't a hugely sympathetic character, but the way he died was really cruel: pawing helplessly at a mirror, trying in vain to get back to his new fortune and fiance. The dude was an asshole, but damn...

Well to me it was Gentarous death in Fourze. I knew it would happen because I watched on Youtube cosmic states first transformation. But still when I watched it last year I almost cried. Also Hase's death was felt to me. Some of the Ryuki riders also died some depressing deaths.

Another question. Are there any shows that have episodes that take place in theme parks? I know Ghost does, but I haven't seen much else Rider.

Pretty sure Skyrider and maybe Stronger did. Think one showed up in Agito as well. There's probably more, not super sure though.

Ryuki has a scene in an amusement park which has the main character following a secondary character and they argue about things while they're using the rides and attractions, and Kabuto has an action scene in like episode 3 where they fight in a park, on top of a rollercoaster and inside a carousel and stuff.

Double has a scene in an amusement park as well, I think it's the debut episode of Accel, and in OOO the main character has to disarm bombs in an amusement park which some bad guy set there, I think. If I recall it correctly it’s the debut episode, or one of the two-part story at least, of the PuToTyra form.

These are the ones I remember right now but there are much more probably.

Besides the ones mentioned, I remember both Black RX and Faiz having amusement park episodes. Faiz's takes place near the end of the show and is, naturally, really fucking dark.

There's also an episode of Drive where they try to disarm bombs in an amusement park.

I love how once you've watched enough toku you start to notice all the suspiciously similar locations. Like that one tunnel people always walk into and get attacked by a monster. You know the one.

Oh, that's actually in front of the Tokyo Dome. I think the scenes you mentioned should have all been filmed there, but I haven't been there yet, so I can't say it for sure. If I get the chance to go, I might be able to confirm it.

Actually, it's not just Toku. It's basically all Tokyo -based live action dramas and movies.

I think it's part of an abandoned quarry that Toei owns or licenses. There are fights there AT LEAST from 1985 to 1995.

For anybody who has watched Drive...a lot of the character movements tend to jump. Like, it skips a couple of frames and makes them look faster. Is that intentional, or is it just the videos i'm watching?

edit: example, in episode 3, the painter guy tells his assistant his paintings aren't good enough, then he hits the painting a couple of times. but it's really jumpy, you don't see the swing. Or an earlier episode, the MC stands up (still learning their names) and it doesn't show him get up, it just jumps straight to him being standing.

It's intentional. Drive, especially early on, really played up the physical comedy. Weird edits and fish-eyed lenses were a huge part of it.

Regarding about Ex-Aid, should Secondary Rider being a gamer?

I know it just a rumor but just says Ex-Aid is a physician and I thought they should do a comic relief secondary rider because it doesn't work if you got a main rider who is a mature physician and you have another generic anti-hero secondary rider. Decade try that and failed miserably

I got questions about Drive and this one puzzled me the most.

So in 1999, after Krim and Banno got killed by Roidmudes. Why Roidmudes waited 15 years so they can enslave the humanity? Why can they just enslave the humanity when they have a chance but no they wait so long that Drive appears to kick their butt!

We don't need to guess, they explained it in one episode, I don't remember which one.

They suffered heavy losses against Proto-Drive and Medic could only heal a small amount of them before she fell into a coma.

After that the Roidmudes decided that another all-out attack would not work anymore, because they weren't as strong in number as before and they knew Krim himself and humanity at large would be better prepared this time.

So they decided upon trying new strategies instead.

Would anyone be interested in a 10 years after movie for Den O if they were to make one next year?

I'd rather see a Hibiki ten years after taking place where 29 left off. I know that the possibility is pretty small, but having fell witness to 30-48 I really want the show to get what it deserves.

I really wouldn't be too interested. I feel like Den-O has had enough stuff already.

Den-O just doesn't have the charm without Satoh, so I wouldn't be interested if they don't get him to come back.

I'd love to see that, along with a proper ending.

Well we haven't had a Den-O movie since the OOO crossover from a few years ago in 2011. I think enough time has pass for a new one. I will be up for a Den-O anniversary movie in 2017 or 2018. Takeru Satoh probably won't be back since he is a pretty busy actor these days.
