Ryuki's World:
The world takes place in a battle called the 100 Rider War. Some fought for their own ambitions, some made friends, some want the fighting to end. Ryuki is the only one to stop it. But he'll need allies of his own to stop them. Knight, Zolda & Femme so far are the only friends he has. Kiva's World: Wataru works for the organization against the Fangires. There is no longer the 13 races. They gained weapons from each race.... similar to the Devil Arms. In secret, Wataru is the Fangire killer, Kiva. IXA doesn't know his secret until he discovers his heritage. If Decade was rewritten, he'd face each rider's world rider. And I don't mean the main riders. Every rider from their type. ex. Abyss. |
What is Kamen Rider Baron's final form? There are three forms that can be considered his final form, but they're all debated. The first one is Lemon Energy Arms since it was his last arms upgrade in the show but most people refer to it as an upgrade or super form. The next possible form is the Lord Baron form since it was the last form of Baron's to appear in the show. But it's considered a monster form and not a rider form. The third possible form is Ringo Arms. When the Gaim Gaiden came out people referred to this as his final form due to its stats apparently, but it was a movie form and the continuity of its appearance don't really make it a final form. So, which of the 3 do you consider Baron's final form?
|
Lord Baron. Lemon Energy is his super form similarly to Gaim's Jinber forms but it might actually stand a chance against Kachidoki too. Ringo is a form change, a strong one but still a form change, like Mango Arms.
Lord Baron is his strongest form and the last one he gets in the show so it's his final form. |
Also, Lord Baron is set on the same level as Kiwami by sharing the form theme, Ranbu Escalation.

Which is the best/your favorite Kamen Rider movie/special?

How did you were introduced to Kamen Rider or Super Sentai?
For me, it was 10 years ago when i was introduced to Super Sentai when I click on a clip of Gaoranger VS. Super Sentai and I thought this was a Japanese parody of Power Rangers. So I did research it and I realize that Power Rangers was an American Adaptation of Super Sentai and I kindly make a joke about Dekaranger's Doggie because he look like a fake puppet than SPD's Doggie After that, I don't remember of how I were introduced to Kamen Rider but I watch the first episode of Den-O back in 2007 after Kabuto ended |
I was informally introduced to Super Sentai with this one PR special (Hosted by Jason and Zack, I think) where they told people about Zyuranger.
My first official introduction to Super Sentai was with Magiranger, which my brother tried to get me into, but I just didn't have any interest. The first Sentai I sat down and actually tried to watch was Shinkenger. I was officially introduced to Kamen Rider when this one Japanese video rental store my family frequented (My grandmother is straight outta Japan, so she loves watching Japanese programming) had videos of "Masked Rider Couga" on the shelves (Unsubbed, but it was my first experience with Kamen Rider outside of Masked Ri-Der.) |

I started watching Super Sentai after Disney cancelled Power Rangers. I started with Goseiger, which was a terrible idea because it was an absolutely awful show. :lol |
I believe there's a topic for this elsewhere that I already told my story in, but I'll happily tell it again.
A LOOONG time ago on another forum I was a member of, somebody made a topic about a Japanese version of Power Rangers that's more violent but aimed at an even younger demographic. I was picturing something a lot crazier than what Super Sentai actually was. Anyways, I just wrote it off as something I didn't care about. Through the years, I always found Godzilla rather interesting, but never actually watched the films. That is, until either HDD or Blu-Ray.com posted a review of the Criterion edition of Godzilla. I also saw the blu-ray 3 pack of Heisei Gamera films at FYE. Between those, an interest had been sparked. I eventually made my way to Barnes and Noble for a Criterion sale and picked up Godzilla on Blu-Ray. I immediately fell in love with the film and the entire series. About a week later we went back to the mall on a whim and I picked up Godzilla Raids Again. I felt like I had discovered an entire new world. However, a friend of mine who has an unfortunate tendency to absolutely OBSESS over things eventually discovered Godzilla as well. Him and this other kid lived their lives around Godzilla for about a month and it made everybody else kind of sick of it. However, I still needed my rubber suit giant monster fix, so I started looking elsewhere. Around the same time (very convenient timing) my ex bought me a dvd that had a couple of episodes of Ultraman on it, and once again, I immediately fell in love. Ultraman wasn't enough though, I needed more. A couple of days later, one of my friends posted on facebook saying that he wanted to watch the original Power Rangers. I was reminded of the existence of Super Sentai, so I looked into it more. It seemed like just what I needed, so I tracked down episodes of Zyuranger on Youtube. It was the perfect blend of everything I wanted at the time and it hit the spot in every way imaginable. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and immediately became a toku fan...that is, until I finished the series. From there, I thought "let's watch Dairanger next!" For those that don't know me well (likely all of you) I have a tendency to form a sentimental bond to things that I enjoyed as much as I enjoyed Zyuranger. Grand Theft Auto IV, Evangelion, and Persona 3 are just a couple of examples. So when I finished Zyuranger and moved onto Dairanger, the fact that it wasn't exactly the same pretty much made me hate it. Of course, I knew it'd be different going in, but still. Like I said, I have that tendency. So I drifted from series to series, trying to recapture the nostalgic magic of Zyuranger until I finally landed on Jetman. There were enough similarities between the series that I was able to enjoy it and move from being a rose-tinted Zyuranger fanboy to an actual fan of Super Sentai. After Jetman, I decided to actually give a modern series a try, so I started Ninninger. At first I didn't like it, but I eventually grew attached to it in a way that was different from what I liked about Zyuranger and Jetman. While it wasn't a great series, it was the one that solidified my love for toku tv as a whole, and not just enjoying it because of early Power Rangers nostalgia. Of course, throughout the course of being a Sentai fan, I had heard about Kamen Rider. The concept never appealed to me - why would I want to watch a show that's like Super Sentai, but with less people fighting and no giant robots? The suit designs were a big reason I liked Sentai, so getting less suits just seemed less interesting. However, I figured I should at least give it a chance, so I decided to watch the original series. I thought that maybe if I watched an early season, I could get to the core of the series and appreciate the differences between each series better, instead of growing attached to the more unique aspects of the series like with Zyuranger, and being mad when no other series had them. (seriously, I was pretty upset that other shows didn't have an episode where they had to gather their weapons and then combine the weapons into the finishing cannon. They just started off with everything and had a pre-assembled cannon. Ugh lol) Anyways, I started the original series. For a show from 1971, it was surprisingly fun. Watching individual characters fight monsters was actually more enjoyable than an entire team in my opinion, and not having to force a giant mech fight into every episode meant the episodes had a bit more room to breathe. I liked the show enough to cosplay the character at a convention, and started to really develop an interest in Sentai. However, for some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to watch every series in order, like I did with the Godzilla movies. Y'know, to see how it evolved. Except...I grew a bit impatient. I was also watching Zyuohger, and wanted to be able to watch the Ghost/Zyuohger crossover and understand what was going on - I only understood half of the Drive/Ninninger one, and that was a bit disappointing. So I started Ghost....and....absolutely loved it. The first episode didn't do much for me, but from the second episode on, I was completely hooked. The first 10-ish episodes had the perfect balance between overarching story and MOTW episodic stuff. The eyecon gathering reminded me of the adventurous nature of early Dragon Ball, the paranormal investigations tapped into my love of ghosts and horror, and the 99 day limit really raised the stakes. I know that section of the series isn't highly regarded, but I was completely engrossed in it. I kept that momentum going throughout the series until I eventually caught up. Then, through pure enthusiasm for the show, I got a friend watching Ghost as well. Jealous of the fact that she was watching Rider and I wasn't, I decided to start another series. Now I've been watching through Drive and have been loving that even more than Ghost. I'm about halfway through the series now and am showing no signs of slowing down. Next, I think I'm watching Fourze. TL;DR - I got into Godzilla, then got burnt out on Godzilla, so I turned to Ultraman. From there, I got into Super Sentai, and from there I got into Kamen Rider. |

Super Sentai I've pretty much always been aware of as the shows from which Power Rangers is derived, and becoming a fan of KR has meant I've familiarized myself more with this franchise as well. Zyuohger has been the first show I've watched, though. |

I've pretty much watched Power Rangers all my life, hell I remember watching the original series back when I was like two. I stuck with that for the longest time, right up to RPM, and then I kinda moved on for a while.
Eventually I started watching Linkara's History of Power Rangers and, not only did that rekindle my love of PR, but he showed a clip of Gokaiger and that got me interested in that. So, I checked it out, and since Overtime had subs of Kamen Rider too, I checked out Fourze, and I've pretty much been in love with both series ever since. |

For Kamen Rider, I remember watching a few episodes of Masked Rider on Fox Kids. I remember liking it, but not as much as Power Rangers. As a five-year old, I always thought the design for Black RX looked really cool. I already grew up with Godzilla and re-runs of Ultraman, so I was into toku. One of my favorite things as a kid growing up in the 90's was going to Japanese collector shops and I would always look around the shop seeing all the cool toys.
I remember in that collectors shop in the Owings Mills Mall in Maryland sometime back in 1996 had Five Riders vs. King Dark and Kamen Rider ZO playing on a TV screen. It was a fan subbed VHS copy and I remember how cool those riders look. So growing up, I always knew what Kamen Rider was but I hardly knew anything about it. So in 2009, I watch the first two episodes of Kabuto subbed on Youtube and I could not get into it. So in 2012, I decided to watch W and that got me hook into Kamen Rider. After I finish W, I watch OOO and Fourze when Fourze was still airing in Japan. I end up getting S.H Figuarts of Stronger and Shin Ichigo as Christmas gifts that year. For Super Sentai, I remember seeing toys of Super Sentai at Japanese collector shops in the 90's and I was like "Oh cool, Power Rangers is a thing in Japan". In 2002, I remember my friend had a VHS copy of Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai. I remember being confused on what the hell was going on but I thought it was cool. In 2004, I remember going on the Wikipedia reading about Super Sentai after that one episode of Super Sentai that they did. At the time, I didn't know how to watch fan subs for them and I didn't watch fan subs for Super Sentai until 2012 when I was becoming a fan of Kamen Rider. My first real Super Sentai was Gokaiger and been a fan since then. |

But eh. I was like, 10 or 11 when we rented them (It was like 3 episodes on VHS. I don't recall any form changing, so probably within the first 10 episodes), and because I didn't speak Japanese, nothing they said could piss me off (And the Grongi just kind fell on already deaf ears). The action was cool, though. Particularly to a kid who was used to seeing monsters having to be killed twice. |

Gokaiger was about finding the universe's greatest treasure and fighting the Zangyack. With each ranger team they meet, they earn an ultimate power to use against the enemy.
One special ranger from Earth joins them. Decade's story wasn't good especially the characters. How would you all rewrite Decade in your own version? Without him being a "destroyer of worlds". It's gotta say "hero" rewritten on him. Narutaki was no antagonist to me due to the annoying "Onore Decade!" |
Ah man, I actually only got into Toku about a year ago. A friend of mine was suggesting I watch this show called Kamen Rider, which I was aware existed but I had never been interested in watching it. She showed me a few of the openings and told me the concepts for some of the seasons. I debated starting with the original series or perhaps Kuuga, but W just called to me. I love, LOVE detectives a lot and the dual protagonist thing sounded so cool. I just couldn't resist and started there. I binge watched the whole thing and absolutely loved it, couldn't believe I had been living my life without this. Episode 48 had me sobbing and it was all around just a great experience. Of course wanted to try more after that and did OOO and hated it. After that I tried Fourze and it was another hit. I went full toku fan after that, there was no going back.
Even now nothing has topped W for me yet. I don't think it can get much better than a dual detective Rider for me, haha. |

This combined with some of the other issues I had with the show, like the surprisingly boring fights and Hina the amazingly bad female lead, really dragged the show down for me. I do think it has some really nice points though, many of the characters were fun (Ankh and Date and Chiyoko were tons of fun) and the general concept is great, but that makes it even more frustrating to me because I feel like they were wasted on OOO. No offense to any OOO fans though. I just have a lot of PROBLEMS with this season. Feel free to tear my thoughts apart. |
I really think you missed a lot of what went down in OOO, but it's fine~

He made a friend. His friend turned. Eiji wanted to save his friend and save the world, turned out he couldn't do both. The broken medal isn't shoehorned in. Eiji wanted to stop Ankh once he reverted back to his old ways, but he still felt remorse. You're treating it like an absolute, which is what OOO was trying to speak against. There's a lot to OOO, and by opening with you seeing Eiji as a megalomaniac kind of cements that, unless you rewatch it, even explaining it to you won't help :lol |
Quote:
I should also specify that I actually rather enjoyed OOO before the whole PuToTyranno thing happened, but after that it really started to drag for me. I even liked Eiji back then! I don't want to rewatch it anytime soon though so you're gonna have to wait on that! :p |
It's fine. I don't know how you didn't pick up on Eiji and Ankh's relationship, but I guess we all see things differently.
It seems like a lot of what you said kind of stems from you just getting the wrong message, hence why I think, if you really want to see OOO in the way most people do, I think rewatching it would do loads better than 2 paragraphs of explaining things :lol No need to rush. Though I am thinking about rewatching OOO myself, now (3rd favorite series), which is a problem since I really need to watch Gingaman. |

Fun fact about Kobayashi, she was a programmer before she became a writer.
One day Winspector was on TV and it triggered her to send a tokusatsu pitch to TV Asahi's thoughts and suggestions corner(which according to her Japanese Wikipedia page later developed into Exceedraft) and caught the attention of Exceedraft's producer. She then attended screen writing school and then penned episode 40 of Janperson. The rest is history. |

I didn't fully connect the dots until I read stuff about Boukenger being unveiled and stuff in 2006, and actually watching a few episodes on youtube. Kamen Rider rolled along just as well, following from Go-Onger/Kiva and watching Shinkenger/Decade. |
How would you revision Decade's world? Without the cliffhanger and Narutaki.
AND... without Decade being a "destroyer". |

Removing them wouldn't be revising Decade, it'd be completely changing it. |
Out of Post-Decade Kamen Riders, Which Main Rider that lack of Character Development?
For me, It's Fourze and Wizard Fourze is basically "I want everyone to be my friend" goody two shoes guy and he was a satellite character along with Yuki. Other Characters got a character development from HIM! The reason of why he is portrayed as a "I want everyone to be my friend" goody two shoes guy because that earthquake! Earthquake was a reason of how Friendship theme came to be! Also if wasn't for that Earthquake, We wouldn't get so many Sentai Legends in Gokaiger! The original plan of Gokaiger that some of Gokaiger like Luka would get a character development. Wizard doesn't have an unique personality as he act like Dante from Devil May Cry. I mean what was his character development? |
Quote:
Two like Dante & Vergil and Beast as an original. Fourze was annoying to me. That series would've done something about it to turn dark. |
Quote:
So because friendship theme, Fourze never have an Evil-Rider in their show It even incorporated in OOO/Fourze when their evil rider was brainwashed! No ACTUALLY Evil Rider |
Why is that a problem?
