Because Fourze was about FRIENDSHIP! The problem is you can't have evil rider if you doing a friendship show! It would ruined the concept of Friendship!

Right, because the legitimately evil rider wouldn't accept the Rider's friendship, and lord knows how many people Gentaro tried to befriend who he also knocked around with his fists.

It would make the theme moot.
Sometimes people wallow in self pity and need to get smacked the fuck up to see how things get better.

A reoccurring theme in Fourze was that people would choose to let their own self doubt consume them.
Character is feeling down over some kind of rejection
Character is given switch and gains power
Character uses newfound power to exert themselves over others
Fourze offers friendship, but turns him down because now they're the ones who's strong.
Fourze knocks them senseless
They accept Fourze's offer of friendship

It's not really told the best way (Too often the character is basically unnoticed by Gentaro until after they become a threat, which makes things feel a little unbalanced), but it's kind of the base for a good chuck of switch users.

I would say Movie Rider.

I wouldn't be able to resist being a main rider. Especially since I could come back for all the crossover movies!

I'd go with Secondary Rider. I don't have what it takes to be Primary. But hell, I'll give my all as a Secondary.

If I was secondary, I'd be the anti-hero who sees some primary riders being annoying and not taking things seriously.

Shot in the dark, who here has read Milton's Paradise Lost? Does the Faiz movie have anything in common with it beyond name?

Only in that Kusaka is in it and he is literally the devil. :p

But no, Faiz Paradise Lost is half post-apocalyptic movie and half amnesia story.

Yeah, its unique in that it's only Post-apocalyptic for the non-Orphenochs, so you get an interesting contrast of rag tag band of heroes and modern settings with a lot of people.

Since part of Paradise Lost had Satan/Lucifer swearing to wreck everything God likes (namely humans), it similar in the sense that the Orphenochs pull off what Satan is said to want: man kind removed from their comfortable spot as God's dominant species on Earth, and casting them aside (their little survivor camp) like he was cast aside (Hell).

Of course I could be stretching to give the movie more credit then it should, though I like the movie well enough.

Paradise Lost is a really fun Rider movie. I especially like how it parallels the main show's last few episodes in a lot of ways.

Fourze I will not argue with. Gentaro's personality made it so that it was supposed to be others developing because of him and not vice versa. On the other hand Gentaro is what made the show so fun for those that watched it. It's a double edged sword.

Now I will probably be the only person here that will defend Haruto, mostly because he reminds me so much of myself. When I think of Haruto's character development I think of a few episodes. Like the episode with his former teacher. He had the option to shatter his hope(The toy airplane) thinking that pushing him to despair could lead to him conquering it and luring out Wiseman. Then the teacher breaks the plane himself and remind Haruto he's supposed to protect people's hopes, not destroy them. Say what you will about Wizard's writing, I will defend that Episode to the death.
Then there's also that whole debacle about Haruto's soccer-oriented backstory. Granted, not as strong as the previous point, but still.
My last point is during the Gaim x Wizard movie. During Wizard's portion he had to deal with Koyomi's death and where to leave the stone. Though Koyomi was really poorly handled throughout Wizard, it was nice to have Haruto have to deal with the loss of what was at one point, his hope.

On release, AmiAmi, since they tend to have mild discounts. Mandarake is really good, but their shipping can be killer.
Amazon can also be a good place to look, but you should always be weary of the price there, as some figures can be rather cheap, while others are massively inflated in price.

What's average for a figure? I know any that I've seen at cons have been around $40, and B&N has a couple of DBZ and Sailor Moon ones for that price.

That's hard to say. Figuarts don't really have fixed prices, and I don't really know what Bandai is doing to warrant the fluctuating prices.

I guess I'll just have to make judgement calls then. Like, $25 for Fourze on Amazon seems pretty good, but $78 for Decade is a tad ridiculous.

The figures average around $40-50 at release, but the prices on older figures are based a lot on aftermarket demand and scarcity.

Eknightmedia has Decade for 65 shipped, last I checked anyway. That's where I got him.
