I can't tell if I love or hate Agito's theme song. It's so hilariously cheesy but I can't tell if that is a good or bad thing. Definitely not a huge fan of Life is Showtime though, it just doesn't have any kick to it. Beyond those two though I legitimately like most of the other theme songs.

I don't really have a least favorite, but then again I haven't watched too many Rider shows. My FAVORITE, however, is Wizard's. MAGIC TIME do dodododo.

My least favorite is probably Ghost. Not because it's a bad song, I listen to it quite often, but because of all theme songs it sounds the most generic to me. You can play this with any high school anime and it would work.

Of the Kamen Rider Themes I've properly listened to, I'd have to say my least favourite is Kabuto (I sometimes end up comparing it with Alive a Life and Round Zero - Blade Brave)... although Den-O, Kiva and Hibiki were dangerously close.

Favourite is Journey Through the Decade, hands down, with Kuuga and Black RX tied for 2nd.

The theme songs that do not work for me are Super-1's opening and Hibiki's 2nd opening(even the regal voice of Fuse Akira could not do it justice).

Like Garo gaining anime versions, will Kamen Rider do the same? But with their own versions of the stories and riders that weren't made live action?

Probably not. That would mean it would compete with the live action shows and Toei wouldn't want that. There's already a long running manga, Kamen Rider Spirits, and Toei flat out refuses to let it be animated. It follows the original 10 Kamen Riders fighting monsters in a modern day setting and I think animating it would be the best way to get the actors back to their roles on a regular basis - save for Stronger, whose actor passed away.

I know it'll probably never happen but all I want is an anime using the SIC designs. Especially OOO, Wizard and Gaim.

Imagine if OOO was remade. And we'd have not just Ankh being an anti-hero, but also the original OOO returning as the true antagonist.

Plus using OOO SIC, OOO/Eiji would turn animalistic through every full combo.

They could adapt Spirits into a OVA series. With a OVA series, it will be made for a older audience and won't have to worry about having two toy lines at once.

People also forget that there is the original Kamen Rider manga too. They can always adapt that into a OVA series or maybe as a animated movie.

That would be pretty interesting actually. I've never been an anime fan, but this would be something that I'd check out. I feel like they would be able to do more with the series since it's animation instead of live action.

If they do a anime version of the original Kamen Rider manga, I would like to see the animation feel faithful to the manga similar to how Android Kikaider: The Animation did. With four volumes, they could adapt into a 13 episode series or maybe two movies. I doubt Spirits will become a anime series, so I think a anime based on the original Kamen Rider manga may be a better choice.

A TV anime series would never work for Kamen Rider seeing that Toei and Bandai don't want to have two toy lines going on at once. So a OVA series or movie would work better for a Kamen Rider anime. With a OVA series, it will be market to older fans of the series than the ones watching Ghost-Ex-aid on TV.

I haven't checked out Spirits before, but that sounds like it would make an awesome OVA adaptation.

Gen Urobuchi is very known for having a tragic plot twist and his unique dark style! Heck! He like Japanese George R. R. Martin!

The original manga would be an interesting adaptation. It's a pretty fast paced series, you have Ichimonji introduced by the second volume, and its ending is...not entirely inconclusive, but it definitely gives you a sense of "yeah, you're never going to be done fighting".

Yeah. I mean the guy tells good stories so its not hard to see how he's become so popular, its just frustrating when you can see these "twists" coming a mile off.

Well, being a completed work, they don't have to follow the story told exactly. They could take liberties to let the pacing flow a little better to slow it down some (Unless it's one of those 6 episode series)

Nowadays most of Kamen Riders, Heroines and even Villains are played by a model or singer but which one that can actually act?

I always wonder why the team that made the Kikaider anime never made an adaptation of the Kamen Rider manga.

^Probably because Toei has most of the control of the Kamen Rider license from what I was told. While the Kikadier anime was from Radix, Studio OX. The Kikaider anime air on a kids network and having a Kamen Rider anime airing around the same time as the live action shows on a kids network will have two toylines going on at the same time. Bandai will never allow it.

The Kikaider anime aired on NHK BS2, which is one of the NHK's satellite channels, it's not actually a kids channel. It also aired at like 1 AM during its original run. If you've seen the show, you can definitely tell it's not a kids show.

Kikaider and Kamen Rider also probably have different levels of Toei ownership. Ishinomori Pro has a great say in a lot of remakes based on Ishinomor's properties but something like Kamen Rider also has to deal with Toei and Bandai more than his lesser known properties.

If we did get a Kamen Rider anime, I do think Toei will probably animated it. Toei's animation is hit or miss. With proper time and buget, they can do really well (As seen in the last two DBZ movies). When it's rush, it looks really awful (Dragon Ball Super and Sailor Moon Crystal comes to mind).

What is 1 thing Toei wants you to forget about Kamen Rider/Super Sentai?

For Kamen Rider, I will says they have a horrible track record of Female Kamen Riders because they always killed them off for no good reasons and basically become the running joke for Kamen Rider

For Super Sentai, Ninja Captor was once part of Sentai Show with Goranger and JAKQ but when Toei announced Goranger and JAKQ as part of Super Sentai, They didn't announced Ninja Captor as part of Super Sentai despite having a same formula as Goranger and JAKQ. It's unknown why they didn't included Ninja Captor as part of Super Sentai but we will never find out about this

If Toei wanted people to forget about their poor female Rider track record, then I don't think they're doing a good job. Hell, they don't even have the balls to retroactively make Tackle a Rider simply because it would also retroactively make ZX the 11th Rider.

And concerning Ninja Captor, Toei has already finished that. No one remembers or really holds any interest in it. They've successfully buried that. Why? Dunno.

Two questions. If ANY studio would make an adaptation of Kamen Rider, who would you like it to be? I feel like Marvel Studios would be the best despite it never happening. Question 2: Why is your favourite Rider show your favourite? For me, I feel like W has a great mix of everything that makes a good show. It's got pretty good comedy, enough good action scenes, enough emotional scenes and knows when to slowly build up. Only thing that could be better is CGI, as the giant monsters and Accel Trial's first victim's death were poorly done imo

Awwwww yeah W fan! W has some good pacing, lovable characters, and an interesting setting. Shotaro and Philip are among my favorite main riders too. Plus I was sobbing at the end, it was great!

I didn’t feel sad at all during the last two episodes of W because I knew that they didn’t had the balls to keep Philip dead. I knew he would return and because of that every dramatic scene was completely lost on me. I really hate the ending to be honest. If the show would’ve ended with Shotaro protecting Futo and Philip’s legacy as Kamen Rider Joker I would’ve loved it, but they brought Philip back with a bullshit explanation which makes no sense, just to have a happy ending.

OOO and Drive did it better. And in both cases they always left the option for the deceased character to return open and it did happen in a movie with OOO, so they could’ve done the same with W.

I love W overall but the ending sucks.
