Thing is I love Kabuto Extender for all its design choices but Gatack Extender takes the cake by a decimal point because I love rugged vehicles in general and Gatack Extender looks like it can survive a bazooka blast and just run at top speed while the Team America theme song plays in the background.

Thanks to its noble and modest character it’s not above being used as a bike though, so it still counts.

But it would also step aside to discuss the possibility of there being a better bike than it, even if that’s not true.

In that case I’ll probably go with the Beat Chaser 2000, sleek design, great look, and the compatibility with Gouram is awesome.

What evil Riders stand out the most to people? To me, Ouja, Gold Drive and Eternal are the most noteworthy. Ouja's just disturbingly entertaining, Gold Drive's similar to Ouja and Eternal's got the most interesting backstory and is very unique as a zombie Rider

Yeeeeah...that novel was uh. It seemed like Inoue was taking the character to his worst possible conclusion...not that it's too difficult to do with Kaixa. And then after that I think the horse orphenoch rips Kaixa' limbs off or something and he spends the rest of his days creepily being taken care of, I think the girl who was the first Delta user, Misery style...

So uh...yeah, I wasn't gonna count that since it wasn't canon anyway, lol. I was mostly thinking within the show itself where he's this scheming selfish psychopathic cartoon who somehow ends up being the secondary rider for the series.

There's only one correct answer to this question and that answer is Battle Hopper.

Probably Ouja; he was easily the most memorable and engaging of the evil Riders. Banno had some cool concepts behind him, but I never got that invested in him as a character.

Which is exactly why I stopped caring. Mugen feels more like an actual evolution for Ghost than just a form getting used too much, at least in my opinion.

Keep in mind I love Ryuki when I say this: They ran out of things to do with him very early on. He has a bunch of great moments but he spends a lot of the later parts of the series just kind of existing, which really hurts his overall image.

Honestly, I believe that was true. Because I remember hearing something about the Rider's suites with the colored under-suits were the ones that were meant to be the long runners of the series. Notice how Ryuki, Knight, and Zolda are the only ones with colored under-suits. All other Riders in the series were meant to be there for a short time and then vented/eliminated. Ouja, on the other hand, became a fan favorite so they started keeping him around as a sort "main protagonist", or something like that. :lol

Has anyone played the KR video games and if so, thoughts? I played one for the Super Famicom and it was a beat em up with Ichigo and Nigo. A fun game that's also very challenging. I also played Kabuto and that's a fighting game I wish was more popular. If it counts, I also played Dragon Knight on the DS, if it just had multiplayer, then it'd be a MUCH better game. Xaviax is still a bullshit boss though

I've heard about that Faiz novel mentioned up above for years, but I've never seen anything like a scan of the relevant page(s). I still sort of refuse to believe anything like that could ever get officially published, but because everyone's heard everyone else say it...

I've played a couple of the Climax Heroes games and they were fun in short bursts. Main thing I remember was that whichever Rider is the newest at the time is ridiculously overpowered compared to everyone else. The OOO one in particular I remember SaGoZo just being able to walk through everyone.

I have the first Battride War as well and that's extremely fun (not to mention mega cheap nowadays, I paid like £8 shipped for the Premium Sound version late last year) but incredibly simple. The levels are very repetitive and its just spam hitting hundreds of mooks over and over, but its very satisfying to run around as your favourite Rider (unless your favourite Rider is from the Showa era, then you aren't so lucky). The movesets are nicely thought out too. Will be picking up the second one once I've finished getting the last couple of trophies.

I have Battride War and Dragon Knight. Dragon Knight is decent for what it is, just a beat em up game. Battride War is actually pretty fun. Neither of them are all that deep though.

If you have a PS4, Battride War Genesis has all of the riders, including Showa era.

I've played the PS2 Blade game, Super Climax Heroes and a little bit of All-Rider Revolution 2. They're decent licenced games. I liked SCH the best as it's fun to play a match every now and again with OOO picking random combos.

Kanon does have a purpose that early episodes have Kanon trying to stop his brother from attempted MURDERED Takeru and even Akari because he wanted Eyecons from Takeru. But Toei rushed her purpose and end up being the damsel in distress character which I am NOT a fan of Damsel in Distress

If we're talking useless characters though, get rid of Shizuka in Kiva. She only kind of has a purpose in the first place and then the show just forgets about her anyway until she shows back up for "wacky antics" as she tries to sabotage Wataru's dating life. Jerk.

I'm sorry if you thought I was attacking your opinion or something. It's just that I do like Tsukasa. He's pretty much the only actual good thing about Decade in my eyes.

I feel the opposite, to be honest, and during my rewatch I felt that Yuusuke was the best part of the show.

He's definitely the Kagami to Tsukasa's Tendou. I've seen lots of complaints about him but he adds some heart to the show and his whole "Kuuga in training" thing would've hypothetically complemented Tsukasa's own growth if not for character development in Decade being non-existent, because, you know, Decade.
