The Power Rangers 20th Anniversary rolls on and with it so does Tokunation.com's series of tributes! This month we're focusing on Power Rangers In Space! At the end of Power Rangers Turbo the now powerless rangers (sans Justin) headed off into to space to escape the forces of Divatox only to encounter the mysterious new Red Ranger, Andros!

The Astro Megazord (Megarangers' Galaxy Mega) hearkens back to the older days of it's super sentai roots, when rangers shared 1 or only a few vehicles between the entire team to form a singular mecha. Techincally it's 2 spacecraft, the Astro Megashuttle and Astro Megaship, but they are controlled by all 5 rangers simultaneously. I used to own this and miss it oh so much. You get so much fun out of something so simple, it's hillarious. If you find one somewhere, in decent shape, buy it. It's worth every penny.

I plan to sell mine once I've done the Delta Megazord/Astro Delta combined gallery. Actually I plan to trade up to BOJ releases on all my In Space stuff if anyone has interest in them.

This is one of those mecha that I fondly have displayed. Love the Astro Megazord. We should have more mecha like it in the future, a one-piece machine.

i never got that as a kid, fam thought i would enjoy the jumbo astronegazord. god i was so irked and hated that thing.

this was one of my faverite megazord i had as a kid and also ened up being the one that vanishs out of my collection completly due to the fact i had astro and mega and loved them both and i still till this day wondering where the hell my astro is due to i still have his sheild and his gun not sword due to my dog at the time chewed it but i miss this guy and still looking for it.

my astro Delta Megazord lost an antenna in the last move, still need to replace that.

I didn't realize when I bought mine from it's previous owner that several of the stickers had some tape holding them on :lol Otherwise it transforms fine and the electronics work.

My only knock against this toy is the use of stickers, but I understand that was the practice at that time.

I've always loved the Galaxy Megas' design. So Simple but so well executed. I've got to track down the Megaranger release eventually.

It feels like I've been saying this a lot... but seriously I'm freakin' jealous. I had a friend with this and the Delta Megazord when we were kids, and oh my god I loved playing with them. Some of my favorite Megazords of all time that I never managed to own.

Also a great design. I love the way the gun is also a fuel tank and secondary boosters for the shuttle.

I love the look of this guy enough that I own two (regular and Astro Galactic Megazord). I love how the components all work together, like the shield being a blast-shield on the bottom of the main ship, or how the smaller ship can dock with the main one. I never thought I'd like a 2-part combiner but Astro Megazord had me sold.

Aside: My nickname for the Astro Galactic / Delta Megazord combo is the Pan-Galactic Gargleblaster

I remember having this as a kid. Except mine was bought used, and didn't come with any of the weapons :lol It was still fun to play with though. Wish I still had it.

Release under Lost Galaxy and not In Space, it is a western-only black and gold repaint of the Astro Megazord

I would KILL for a Silver Titanus. For completionist sake I definitely want it. If anyone out there has one for sale then please let me know.

I got this as an Easter gift back when I was a kid my younger brother got the Delta zord. I LOVED my Astromegazord soooo much and I am glad I still have it after all these years. Sadly I did lose the shield and the gun

You wouldn't want mine. The decal on the shield is put on way crooked ;P

I always somehow manage to lose the Astro Shuttle/Head, the one for the regular Astro Megazord and now pretty recently the Black and Gold Edition Astro Megazord's Astro Shuttle. And they're always so hard to find online to replace!

But yeah this brings back nostalgia of when my Astro Megazords had heads.
