DX Dekaranger Robo Gallery
25 Attachment(s)
Emergency, Dekaranger!
For the month of May Tokunation.com is celebrating all things Power Rangers SPD. And what's an SPD celebration without some toys from it's source material, Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger! So today we bring you a gallery of the DX Dekaranger Robo! That's the Delta Squad Megazord for Power Rangers fans. Composed of the 5 Dekamachines (Patstriker, Patgyrer, Patrailer, Patarmor, & Patsigner) the Dekarobo is unique in that it has 2 primary weapons. The Judgement Sword and Signal Cannon! It also has a giant pair of Deka Cuffs and Patsigners' SP license to use for arresting and judging Alienizers respectively. One other unique feature to this set is the inclusion of a decal sheet (as well as various cardboard cut outs to be used with Patsigner). Dekaranger was the final sentai toyline to feature label sheets for it's DX robos. Starting with Magiranger any labels would be either factory applied or simply be replaced by paint applications. Build Up Dekranger Robo! |
One thing that I liked during the combination sequence was the very end, with the slimming sequence of all it's weapons and whatnot.
Anyway, this mecha always looked particularly good. It may not have been my personal favorite, but it always looked great! |
excuse me while i go hunt for one.

Not one of my favorites.
Now if you'll excuse me... *locks door to my top secret "In case of unpopular opinion" bunker* Wait, is this one of the most beloved Sentai Robos? |
I actually had the B-Squad Megazord before it vanished. I like this look. It may be a Voltron-Oh, but it looks good, and all the Dekamachines have their little features that makes them feel important, unlike doofy ole Gokai-Oh.

It was so much cooler, aside from the head, in my opinion. |
The Dekarobo is easily one of my all time favorite sentai robos. I cannot get enough of that beautiful design. The DX toy does not disappoint either.
|
We got a lump of plastic, and Japan gets that.. So that's where Bandai-Screwed came from.

i always wonderes why the part flipped around like that...its for judgement mode. and all we got in the US was a blank inside... sad. wonder of reprolabels could fix that.
edit. oh not easily |
the delta squad megazord lost ALOT of paint and we didnt get the stickers or the panels for pink.totally worth getting the dekaranger robo
|
Definitely one of my all time favourite Sentai mecha designs, this is one DX I'd like to pick up one day.
|
such a fun design. hands down one of my favourites. but i love the guns on dekawing
|
This is one of the simplest transformations I can think of. On par with Gosei Great and GokaiOh, but the resulting figure just looks so amazing. It is one of my more favorite mecha.
Also for once I find the light and sound gimmick to work perfectly with the theme and not be totally obnoxious. I actually keep batteries in my figure, unlike every other Sentai mecha with lights and sound. |
I do love this toy for its design and light and sound gimmick. Hell, I was planning on buying one and making a fan film using Godzilla! But, no money, no dekaranger robo. OH well.
|
Another nice thing is that despite it's age and popularity, used Dekaranger Robos are pretty cheap on the Japanese market.
|
There was a time when my ultimate quest was to get a DX Dekaranger Robo. I wonder if I should restart that quest. :lol

They're still going for cheap?
That's nice. I have some incentive to pick them up since watching Dekaranger. |

I don't have much want for Dekabase, and since Wing is stand alone, I can put it off.

dekaranger robo is cheap on the 2nd hand market but do realize some if not most are either used with missing pieces which I have seen quite alot lately and also either the electronics dont work or something.dekabike alone is cheap cause it doesnt do much if you dont have this thing to go with it and I have seen in the past few weeks many japanese sellers have dekabike but no visor on it. |
One thing that always bothered me about this were the arms. They always looked stubby, they need a peice that folds down out of the cars to give them more arm.
|

They need to take a page from Turbo/Carranger's book, and actually thin the arms. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...sale_turbo.jpg The car doesn't extend or shorten at all. It just panels away at the elbow. |

I didn't remember the Sentai name for it :lol |
I suppose this toy doesn't have a yellowing problem?

The Dekaranger stuff only appears to be more prone to yellowing. Seeing as most of the figures are white people tend to notice it more. Though they arent more or less suceptible than other newer DX's.
