Oh f***. They're still going to be Nickelodeon? I mean, I hope at least they'll stop with that 20-episodes per season thing.

Well there isn't anything that would imply it outside of it being on Nick and if it is 20 episodes like DC I know Chip can handle it weather or not we get one or two seasons of Ninja Steel

I...actually kinda like that concept. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't wary though. But at least they came up with an intriguing idea to say the least.

I don't mind right now. So far, their take on Kyuryuger has been very good with Dino Charge. And I knew there was no way they were going to use GoBusters, even if they could have just used half the episodes and actually made a full series out of it. And ToQgers was too Japanese for use, no kid past the age of five likes trains anymore.

The concept behind the Westernization of the story is not bad either. It's like Mortal Kombat, but with Ninjas and the use of the word Steel. Just for the love of Kinji please don't make a second season half Power Rangers Ninja Super Mega Steel.

Hmmmm? A game show. I want to hate it but i think it May just may be it will work. At this time i'm 50/50. I need to know more about the Rangers.

I'm getting sick of aliens in Power Rangers. I was hoping that the monsters in Ninja Steel would be dark spiritual monsters or ghouls. With Yokai Watch airing on Disney XD, I think kids can get into Power Rangers monsters being ghosts or ghouls.

I probably won't watch this, but WOW! I freaking love the concept of the monsters-of-the-week being game show contestants.

The rangers are forced to participate in a reality show about trying to kill them. This is an insanely great idea.

Again, wow. This is the first time I've EVER been impressed by an original Power Rangers concept.

I was actually thinking about the amount of aliens in PR. Even for a show about ninjas, rather than use demons or spirits, they still resorted to aliens. Odd call...

I feel like a sentai being too "japanese" isnt a valid point any more. People said the same thing about Shinkenger too....nit to mention that Ninin is FAR more japanese than Toqger is. Hell, going back to to Kakuranger was pretty "japanese" and they went in another direction with it.

This....sounds worse than Ninningers current plot. I mean I don't mind taking liberties I mean this is Chip and Dino charge is great so far but this sounds...a little weird and out of place. Probably because space alien man.

Yeah that's what makes me a little wary. I mean by no means is Ninninger the best sentai but it has it's moments and it's pretty clear a lot of the mecha's take from more Japanese tones. So aliens?? Feels weird to me in a sense, just like how when dino charge started out I didn't really take to liking them making everyone space bounty hunters but I digress cause I got used to that.

It's either going to be really, really bad or ridiculous enough to come full circle and work amazingly. Dino Charge has been good so far, but it isn't enough to sell me on this just yet. Points for originality though I guess!

Thats the one thing I really like about this. its something new. Taking aliens aside its a concept we didnt have in Power Rangers yet, at least not for a whole show. So lets see if they take that opportunity to make a good show out of it too :lol

ok i dunno the fact i droped ninnger and that i have had no intrest check it out again and looking forwared to next setai due as like ghost ints intrged me drive was like nninger for me and i droped it. and this story i mean wow i love it i mean intresting that they baseing the main thing of power rangers and a space game show i cant wait see what the villians look like i mean the mainbig bad must be original villian right.

Shinkenger might not be the best example to bring up given how bad Samurai was...

Which certainly wasnt a problem with the footage. The footage could have been used to make a good show. They just didnt manage to do that.

I might as well stick with Super Sentai on that one

It's certainly different. I'm cautiously optimistic but between the original concept and Lynn's continued presence I'll certainly give it a chance.

Sounds like this could be a fun season. Should be interesting to see what all they do with the ninja theme and how they introduce the sixth Ranger. Especially with his... unique morpher.

Should also be interesting to see how BoA inplements the throwing star gimmick. Without the electronics, I'm not sure they'll be able to get the attention of kids.

I think Zicron is either Gengetsu Kibaoni or a brand new villain.

It would be kinda cool if they made Izayoi Kyuuemon the referee or something like that :lol

Either way it would require a hell of a lot of new footage, so that would be a good thing!

Well that's interesting but at the same time I guess bandai doesn't need to get new toys of the Rangers made cause didn't the ninninger rangers already get like boa figure treatment?

And Samurai ended up being a shit adaptation. So yes it shows that it was a very Japanese concept

The game show aspect sounds extremely unique, I'll give it that.

The only thing that sounds the opposite are the use of aliens, again, and the fight for crystals. Again. Dino Charge already did that.

But The Force Awakens use the same stuff from A New Hope and yet people love it more than Prequel ones

I actually like it. I'm sure it will get slightly tweeked, but I always recognized the potential in Ninninger as Power Rangers series.

I am bummed about ToQger being skipped, but oh well.

Star Wars isn't released on a yearly basis so similar concepts don't get stale as quickly.
Aliens in PR is kind of the fill in the blank style villain, while using crystals is immediately after Dino Charge.

I blame that more on not giving a care. I think some where the original plot for it sounded solid and combined it with Japanese concept. it's pretty clear they really didn't care and that's why we got like 3 terrible series in a row till we got Chip back. bad writing goes a long way.

I mean, the idea about an alien game show in Power Rangers sounds okay in concept, but with Ninninger being the Sentai that's adapted...I dunno.
