Thanks to BusinessWire: Quote: Saban’s Power Rangers Ninja Steel starts deep in space, where Zircon is the reigning champion of the most popular intergalactic game show in the universe, and monsters battle to prove who is the mightiest warrior. Zircon is determined to become invincible by controlling the mythical Spirit Crystal, which contains six supernatural Ninja Power Throwing Stars. The only thing standing in his way is a new team of heroic teenage Power Rangers who possess the Spirit Crystal. The evil Zircon sends his warrior contestants down to Earth to steal the Crystal, where each epic battle against the Rangers is broadcast throughout the universe. Together, the Rangers must master their arsenal of Throwing Stars, Zords and Megazords, each made of legendary ninja steel, in order to stop this evil threat and save our planet from destruction. http://www.businesswire.com/news/hom...ers-Dino-Super Additionally, Saban has renewed its contract with Nickelodeon through 2018. |

Oh f***. They're still going to be Nickelodeon? I mean, I hope at least they'll stop with that 20-episodes per season thing.

Well there isn't anything that would imply it outside of it being on Nick and if it is 20 episodes like DC I know Chip can handle it weather or not we get one or two seasons of Ninja Steel

I...actually kinda like that concept. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't wary though. But at least they came up with an intriguing idea to say the least.

Hack and slash....the footage. Wasshoi. I don't mind right now. So far, their take on Kyuryuger has been very good with Dino Charge. And I knew there was no way they were going to use GoBusters, even if they could have just used half the episodes and actually made a full series out of it. And ToQgers was too Japanese for use, no kid past the age of five likes trains anymore. The concept behind the Westernization of the story is not bad either. It's like Mortal Kombat, but with Ninjas and the use of the word Steel. Just for the love of Kinji please don't make a second season half Power Rangers Ninja Super Mega Steel.

I'm getting sick of aliens in Power Rangers. I was hoping that the monsters in Ninja Steel would be dark spiritual monsters or ghouls. With Yokai Watch airing on Disney XD, I think kids can get into Power Rangers monsters being ghosts or ghouls.

I probably won't watch this, but WOW! I freaking love the concept of the monsters-of-the-week being game show contestants. The rangers are forced to participate in a reality show about trying to kill them. This is an insanely great idea. Again, wow. This is the first time I've EVER been impressed by an original Power Rangers concept. Last edited by Kamen Rider Lucha; 01-12-2016 at 02:21 PM.. |
