Go-Busters Mission 29 discussion "Break into Hyperspace!"
It's time to take the fight to Messiah! The Go-Busters try to break into hyperspace and clash with Enter and Escape, who seem to be pulling out all the stops against our heroes.
You know its serious business when Enter isn't wearing his coat! Discuss the episode here! |
Wow...that was an episode and a half. Definitely one of if not the best we've seen from this series.
More plot advances as we learn more about the fates of those transported to Hyperspace and the Engineers who maintain Messiah. Great fight sequences between the five Busters, Enter and Escape and finally the heroes come face to face with Messiah. I don't know where the series is going to go after all of this, because this all feels like a finale battle already. |

Really glad to see this show continue to improve. I'm actually very glad this feels like a final battle as well. I want to see Messiah go down so that Enter can take center stage and kill Escape hopefully. It'll be nice if Messiah goes down next week and then we get something new. After next weeks' episode our next 2 episodes are the Gavan crossover which gives us a small break until the final story arcs get going. It'll be interesting to see where things go after that. But again, I really really hope that Enter gets to take center stage.

Going by the next episode preview, it looks like my theory about the gobuster's parents being digitized as information maybe correct...here's another:
What if they end up being the villains to replace Messiah? Maybe they wanted to use Messiah for evil intent from the beginning, but he deviated away from their original goals. Or maybe being digitized as such a way for as long as they have, Messiah gradually started to effect them, thus turning them evil? |
This felt a lot more focused, and was all the better for it. I'd only seen random episodes of Go-Busters, so I'd missed all the stuff about their parents in Hyperspace, for the most part, so it didn't quite register for me until now what the stakes were.
Oh, and while the comedy in this series isn't usually to my taste, it was rather funny seeing J-Stag bogart all the fuel. Dunno what to make of the "final battle" talk in the previews, apart from they're very quickly shifting gears. I guess we'll see. |
I just caught up on my gobuster episodes, and my God, this, and the last 1-2 i would say, have really been improving. the series is getting more enjoyable, and especially this episode was really good. hopefully gobuster can continue to improve now, cause it seems so far the revamping of gobusters was for the better

I want to hear who those monsters that Messiah summoned at the end are. Are they generic monsters or are they late game new generals? I hope we find out more next episode.
