Zaido (Philippine Tokusatsu)
 

In 2007, the Philippines attempted to produce a sequel to Uchuu Keiji Shaider, which is one of the most popular tokusatsu shows in the country. Toei rejected the proposal, but approved the project as a spin-off, taking place 20 years after Shaider. The result: Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan (Zaido: Space Sheriffs).

We can forgive France Five for its low production value because it's a fan-made series. Zaido, on the other hand, was a full-fledged show produced by a major television network. This is one of the reasons why Philippine cinema and television will never ever be taken seriously.

Oh man, I really wanted to see the suits in action in that clip but didn't. The production value wavers from good to bad to downright cheesy... Where can I find more?

Magandang babae sa intro but good lord...why ....why!!!!

Did the DVDs for this show ever happen? As bad as this show was I still want to watch the rest of it.

Sad thing is Toei gave there seal of approval on EVERYTHING in this show.
