Zerboz: Super Samurai/MMPR Series 1
15 Attachment(s)
If you're like me, you've probably passed by those tall Zerboz (formerly Heroics) displays in the toy aisle a million times. I finally stopped to looked at one today and was surprised at what I found.
Series 1 of the Super Samurai Zerboz line include 8 common figures and 4 chase. Common: Mega Mode Red Samurai Mega Mode Blue Samurai Mega Mode Green Samurai Mega Mode Yellow Samurai Mega Mode Pink Samurai Mega Mode Gold Samurai Serrator Mooger Chase figures: MMPR - Blue MMPR - White Putty Lord Zedd And you're asking, just what are zerboz (heroics)? For the uninformed, they're miniature inarticulated figures (around 1 inch) that come in small capsules (think gashapon here) and run 97 cents. Zerboz figures are the true definition of 'blind bagged' though. As of now, there is no way to discern one capsuled figure from another. For their scale, the Samurai figures are surprisingly well detailed and have pretty decent paint apps. As demonstrated, they scale pretty well with both the Retrofire and deluxe Megazords. They're even smaller than the Micro Machine figures of old. |
I have no idea what these are but they me of the little human dudes that would come with Micro Machines sometimes (like the MMPR ones).

It's actually really cool how well those scale with the Megazords. I'll try to pick some up if I find them.

Picked up some more of these and updated first photos with additional photos. I can't say how much I like these figures. They're more detailed and even smaller than Micro Machines which is kind of awesome.
