SH Figuarts Shocker Grunt, Classic Rider 1 For Summer
 

The latest round of magazine scans have revealed two items for the summer schedule- the "Shocker Grunt" (iconic foot soldier of the original series) and "Classic Ichigo" (the first Kamen Rider suit in its most screen-accurate appearance).

Both figures appear to be mass-release, with a retail price of 2940 yen for Ichigo/Rider 1 and a not-quite-legible price for the Shocker Grunt. Look for these in July 2013!

Well that Shocker Grunt will have to be mine. Although I would have liked one of the very early facepainted ones, the skeletal ones are the most well remembered.

Sweet, I need a Shocker grunt for my riders to beat up on!

I think I'll make this the Rider 1 for me, and the Shocker Grunt will be bought too. Probably not on release, as I have a feeling those months are gonna be filled up by Sentai stuff for me.

Which is funny because I am at episode 21 of the original show and have yet to see the skeletal grunts.

Anyway, I'll eventually get a shocker grunt or two, depending on price, but not until I get my other priorities first like Warz Gil, Phoenix, Medusa, Dragon Ranger, Tyranno Ranger, etc.

Well I already have the other 2 Showa Ichigo's. Why not get this one too? :lol

The shocker grunt is cool, but my eyes were drawn to that Precure Peace Figuart at the bottom of the page.

Oh man, Cure Peace, I am so pumped. I so want my magical girl tokusatsu fangirl Figuart now! Oh, and Shocker Combatent. Will definitely get that too.

So glad the Shocker grunt is a regular release. Makes getting a few if them a tad less painful.
