Are Abaranger and Hurricanger Worth Watching?
I've been wanting to pick these up to see the counterparts to Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm, but I just never really got around to it. Will anyone offer any details on these series without spoiling anything? o:

good luck finding them subbed
and if you do plz pass thwm onto us |
Well I know Harorangers is subbing Hurricanger but they're only like 3 episodes in. And Midnight Crew has a few odd episodes of Abaranger. But really that's about it right now.

They are if you can speak Japanese :lol
Otherwise you're in for a long wait to see subtitles :( |
Hurriecanger has been subbed, and it is worth watching. As for abreranger I'm not if it's worth a watch or not.

I really want to watch them as well. Hurricaneger isn't fully subbed anywhere. I found Abaranger subbed once but the quality was TERRIBLE.

Pretty sure you can find Hong Kong subs of these series on Ebay. |
I'm pretty sure there are HK subs of Abaranger floating around too (if I remember my previous trips to Super Sentai Planet rightly). Doesn't necessarily mean they're good subs though.

Hurricanger got an Excellent HK sub about 10 years back.... I have them but for the life of me I've not idea how to share. As for the series itself, it's no secret I consider it to be one of the all time greats.
As for Abaranger. typical horrible HK subs exist....but the series itself is an odd thing. Asuka...Abareblacks story, which runs through the entire series is DARK AS HELL!!!! seriously it is Horrifying the things this man endures before and during the series....but the offset that...because it is a kid show, they thow the book at us in terms of goofiness and kids-stuff, to try to make sure no one noticed. so for every Abarekiller fight we get, we get a Telephone/Crocodile Butler scene too. |
