D-D-D-Den-O painting!
 

I've recently taken up canvas painting, and with zero experience working on a canvas, I practicaed with a piece of... something I found. It's, I think, the back of a poster board with the hangy-hooks ripped out. Because I've never posted any Toku art here... or done any Toku art I decided what the hey!

That's the cold room door in my basement, BTW, which is why it looks like the photo is from 1978.

i say for the next one: have Den-O sitting in a chair with a glass of wine in one hand and a cigar in the other. and of course his sword somewhere next to him. but this is just a suggestion.

I plan to do one of Sieg because in case you haven't noticed I've formed my first unhealthy fictional male-male obsession with him...


...also because I think he'd make a cool painting 'cuz his design is wicked.
