Ebay item shipping from a FPO, AA, APO/FPO adress.
 

Hello

I have seen an item on ebay that is shipping from an FPO, AA, APO/FPO address. After doing some searching I have found out it is some sort of military address.
Is there anything I need to know before buying the item on ebay bear in mind that I live in the United Kingdom

It's fine here. There's no real category in the Marketplace where a question about shipping addresses would be applicable, as he's talking eBay and not some seller here.

APO addresses and the like don't really differ from ordering from a standard address in, say, the US. Delivery might take a little longer depending on the geographical location, but if, for example, it's an American military address, shipping is handled exactly the same way as if you were ordering from someone within the US. How UK customs will handle an APO package and any fees, I couldn't tell you, but I'd expect nothing more significantly different than any other international package.

It it's from a BFPO address, it should only take a couple of days longer but, apart from that, it shouldn't be any different
