Deker and Dayu Appreciation Thread
 

And they do deserve appreciation. Without Rick Medina as Deker, and Kate Elliont's voice work as Dayu, this season wouldn't have even came close to how good it is. Their back and forth all season is one of the better storylines, his back and forth with Jayden is just excellent. And Dayu's voice makes the character.

Three words.

"My sword Uramasa."

And here's to hoping rick Medina makes a cameo as Cole next season for anniversary

Deker was the only thing I liked about Samurai. I really wanted him to become a Ranger. In fact, I can imagine the Wild Force crossover.

Cole: Are you my brother?
Deker: When I was your age, your great-great-grandmother was only a toddler.

Rick Medina has made the character Deker so much more appealing than if it was someone else. He ended up fitting the character perfectly, and his lack of acting works for the character strangely enough.

Daiyu's voice actress was a great choice, and in the last episode she really shone brightly. I'm glad their in "Season 2" of Samurai, or this would have been a painstakingly boring series.

Thier story and voice acting has saved the show for me many a time.
