The Poll to Decide the Next Let's Watch Wednesdays

Over the last week Tokunation has been accepting nominations for it's next Let's Watch Wednesdays segment. Well, we've narrowed it down to a final 10 shows to choose from! Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Kamen Riders, and a few others thrown in the mix for good measure! Make your selections now and we'll begin our brand new segment this Wednesday!

And stay tuned tonight as we draw the winners for our DVD Giveaway from our recently finished segment on Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger!

These are good choices. I would not mind re-watching OOO or finishing Black. I have not watched In Space since it aired. Sheesh!....

I absolutely do not want any Super Sentai or Power Rangers season to be the next spotlight. We need to change things up.

That said, we also should simply not do Kamen Rider OOO. I feel that far too many of us have seen it already (wasn't it still airing when the site opened?) and it's too recent. That wouldn't help participation either.

I myself suggested Blade, because I watched only the very beginning and would love it if there were others watching alongside it with me to talk about it heh... It seemed interesting enough to me.

I also wouldn't be opposed to Black at all, and would maybe even give Nexus a try.

But please, guys... Think about it a little. We can't make these all just Sentai and Ranger shows.

I have been meaning to check out Kamen Rider OOO... So I will go with that.

My vote is for Ultraman Nexus. I want to try something that isn't Kamen Rider or Super Sentai this time again.

I'm really feeling we should branch out to other franchises.I'm currently watching RPM and I wanna start Dairanger to watch at my own pace,so I'm really not feeling like watching another Sentai/Ranger series.As much as I would like to see Black,I just want something that isn't Rider or Sentai.

OOO is less than three years old. Pretty much everyone here has already seen it and those who haven't will likely be getting around to it sooner than later. Black is from the Showa era - hell, there are probably users here younger than Black. And because it's such an older show, odds are a lot of people here aren't going to go out of their way to watch it without some incentive. Making Black the next LWW show means some people who would otherwise pass on it might actually give Showa Rider a chance. I think that would be a great thing.

And from a practical standpoint, when we did W last year, which was the same age as OOO at the time, nobody ever posted in the threads.
