Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Sixth Division Round 6
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson
Pink Ranger: Jen Scotts
Green Ranger: Adam Park

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

*The final say on who qualified for the Sixth Ranger pool is my call and mine alone. If you disagree over one of the 22 Rangers in this pool, that is well within your right. I'm not going to be removing from or adding to the pool, though, regardless of what anyone thinks. Let's please not derail the following rounds with arguments about whether Eric is a Sixth or Red, whether the Phantom Ranger or Robo Knight count, or what Gokaiger classified Gekiviolet or Dekamaster as. Let's just have fun and discuss the Rangers on their own merits. Please.

I only voted for Gemma because i actually watched RPM all the way through.

I went with Gemma for the same reason I didn't vote for any of the Alien Rangers - I can actually remember her name without having to look it up.

I mean, yeah, she's also really smart and competent, if a little psychotic.

But mostly the memorable thing.

Gemma... I don't even know Dominic.

The opposite... Dominic I remember well, but couldn't pick Gemma out of a lineup...

Dominic. Strength, Skill, Power, a giant farking hand for a morpher!

Kinda have to go with Dominic on this one. He's got one bada$$ morpher and is a trained martial artist. I know that Gemma is a genius, but I still feel like all Dominic has to do is distract her with an explosion or something shiny and he can go in for the kill.

And since Gem is no longer in this....

Ok, I love Jungle Fury as much as Matrix loves Gekiranger, but, I actually remember a thing that Gemma did, like blow crap up, I mean in the rewatch I did of JF, I dont remember Dom doin much at all except be there and get with Fran at the end :lol

Wow. That is a lot of love for JF then. :lol

Anyway, I don't recall much from Jungle Fury, but I do know Ken from Geki, and how the Saiblade operates, which lets him manifest geki into a physical blade and cut with amazing force, so if Dominic hasn't changed the powers, then he'll have an incredible power set on his hands. Adding that I think he's more serious and stern than Ken, and I think he'll be able to win.
