Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Sixth Division Round 9
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson
Pink Ranger: Jen Scotts
Green Ranger: Adam Park

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

*The final say on who qualified for the Sixth Ranger pool is my call and mine alone. If you disagree over one of the 22 Rangers in this pool, that is well within your right. I'm not going to be removing from or adding to the pool, though, regardless of what anyone thinks. Let's please not derail the following rounds with arguments about whether Eric is a Sixth or Red, whether the Phantom Ranger or Robo Knight count, or what Gokaiger classified Gekiviolet or Dekamaster as. Let's just have fun and discuss the Rangers on their own merits. Please.

Trent was one of the best and most powerful Rangers. One of the best from Dino Thunder.

RJ for sure.He had that laid back mentor mentality which honestly,with the team we have so far,would work marvelously.Also uses a very unique fighting style.

Trent is good,but he spent half his time if not more as a bad guy.Then when he was good he didnt really do much.He was just there.

You make me choose between the "sixth" form my 3rd favorite season, and the guy who friggin has my name from my second favorite series?

-sigh- RJ, he is a master, has his own megazord (yes Trent does to), can kick multiple ass if need be, and well is basically Jackie Chan mixed with Steven Hyde, with my name.

This was hard. Trent has raw unadulterated power. The White Dino Gem was one of the absolute strongest, and he's by now means a weak fighter. But I had to vote RJ. He had power, he had skill, he had experience. And I just can't vote against him.

Yeah, I kinda was hoping these guys would have softer matches for the first round. But that's part of the fun of random match generation.

I voted for RJ, by the way, for pretty much the same reasons Sentai gave.

I know saying that I hate you would be inaccurate, Switchblade. So, I will modify that statement: I hate you, Switchblade's random number generator. :mad:

I have to choose between my favorite Ranger from Dino Thunder (who has some of the coolest powers ever for a Power Ranger) and my favorite Ranger from Jungle Fury (who is just one of the coolest Rangers ever).

Just can't go wrong with RJ.He's like the cool uncle we all wish we had.
