SIC vs Play Arts Kai
I wasn't sure if this fit any particular thread, but does anyone own an SIC as well as Play Arts Kai? I'd like to see how they scale with each other. Some of the new PAK reveals look pretty interesting so I might consider some of them, but I'd like them to scale properly with something I own.
If someone could upload comparison pics that would be great. |
I only a couple of Play Arts figures but they are in storage - deep storage. The ones I have are the Final Fantasy VII ones, Big Boss from Peace Walker and Solid Snake from MGS.
The thing with Play Arts figures is that the figures are not scaled to one another. Eg. Solid Snake is bigger and taller than Big Boss. That was the main reason why I gave up on the line. If you're going to collect them to compliment your SIC line, I think you should take note of the above. My apologies for not being to help you further. |
PAKs aren't really scaled to go with anything except for their own line. I think they're taller then SICs.

Not sure if you got the answer you were looking for yet, but here's a pic for comparison. PAKs are much larger and bulkier than SICs. Solidus Snake is a bit of an exception as one of the bulkier PAK releases to date, but he towers over the SICs I own. Cyborg Ninja is also bulkier than SICs; PAK really play up the muscular definitions of the male figures.

Yeah, I looked up the measurements. SIC averages around 8 inches while PAK is around 10. I was only thinking about a few of them. The new variant DC figures. Mainly Green Lantern. I'll probably end up picking him up eventually. And since he's green, scale isn't really going to matter since he'll blend in with all of my other green things.
