SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Nigo Original Version Revealed
 

Bandai is set to release yet another iconic suit from the glorious beginnings of Kamen Rider!

This is the original suit design for Hayato Ichimonji, better known as Kamen Rider 2 or Kamen Rider Nigo, the emergency replacement hero created in response to Hiroshi Fujioka's on-set injuries.

Original Rider 2 will be a Tamashii Web Exclusive sold in December for 2940 Yen

My ridiculously long and expensive quest to own every version of the Rider 1 & 2 costumes is coming closer to completion.

What if you just want one of each x . x There's like 90 of them both and I don't know which is which ...

No offense 70's, but you can have Derp costume 1 and Derp costume 2 back. The helmets look like stupid metal watermelons and I can't stand looking at them.

This is why the First is an infintley superior adaptation because it doesn't want to make me scream "The hell are you doing derpy suit?" at the costumes every 60 seconds. The way Kamen Rider 1 and 2 SHOULD have looked like

It was the freaking 70's, man. The hell do you expect?

I like them. I've seen derpier helmets *Cough*Stronger*CoughCough*, and they're instantly recognizable and memorable.

Better how?
The First comparison fails because it's based on these helmets.

I probably should buy a version of Kamen Rider 2 at some point, but for now I am happy with 1 going it alone.

From a series that started in 1971?

That was probably the best they could do with the budget they had.
