super sentai mecha alternative
 

i love super sentai mecha and want some but for now i want more bulk for my buck. so do any of you have suggestions about a series of (combining if
possible) mecha that are similiar to sentai mecha that i can buy alot at once over ebay?

You could always search for lots for the PR versions. They can be a bit pricey, but will give you a good place holder until you can get the Sentai counterpart.

but arent they really bad quality or at least lesser quality? plus i dont want to buy two versions of the same quality

The only real difference is usually the decals are replaced by paint. But a lot of the older ones are really, really accurate towards the original outside of the paint over decal issue. And notice I said older, the newer ones on the other hand seem to be getting pretty bad.

I've never had any Voltron stuff, but I've seen some. They look pretty good, but I'm not knowledgeable in Voltron enough to tell you a whole lot.

Robot Damashii isn't Super Sentai. It's Gundams and stuff mostly.

There's only 2 cheaper, combining alternatives to DX Super Sentai stuff that I know of: Minipla and Joint Gattai.

And Minipla can get pretty expensive depending on the toy in question. But general for Power Rangers, nything predating Operation Overdrive is good since they're mostly the same (maybe some safety remolding and some changed apps/stickers but still the same toy).
