toy line recomendations?
 

so far the only toy line ive collected is transformers and ive done it pitifully. i want to atart a proper collection of something but right now super sentai, figuarts and mugenbine are to expensive for me and so i want suggestions of other cool and or fun toylines to collect

p.s. it does NOT have to be related to sentai my interest's cover many genre (megaman, transformers, digimon, pokemon, yugioh, tokusatsu, anime, megaman, robot toys, american super heroes) also action figures and mecha are only the tip of the iceberg i love plastic model kits (like gundam and lbx but not military vehicles) and i can get into pretty much any-type of collectable toyline (not dolls or my little pony) so as long as its like any of the genres i mentioned or even if its not and you think it's cool suggest it please

Well I would say power ranger toys due to the new Zord builder system is like mugenbine where you can make any thing and cheaper to get a hold of these days or you go with the candy toy stuff

nah no power ranger stuff because im going to eventually buy the super sentai stuff

and i dont like candy toys there too small

i know one of the admins on the boards love saint seya stuff (the myth cloth line) was it den-o? so how is it anyway

It would help if you told us what kinda stuff you're looking for.

okay well i like mecha (ones similiar to the ones that appear in super sentai) and i like figuarts (one figure with armour or in a suit, extra hands and weapons also super poseable and deatiled) so any series of figure like those but not as expensive

Talk about expensive though. The line has a high entry fee without even getting into the exclusives, but man are they nice.

*edit* They're really no too expensive if you shop around, but then again value is in the eye of the beholder. Ask a sneaker head if it's too much to pay for basically the same shoe he got last time save for a color swap. Actually don't do that. They might just cut you :D, those guys are serious.

Brave can get pricey but brave is far woth looking into if you like transfoprmers and power ranger/sentai

Yeah I miss the J-Decker stuff I once owned :cry. J-decker, Duke Fire, and Super Build Tiger. Man those guys were fun.

There's always room in the world of Gunpla. With the variety of different kits available in the different scales, one is bound to find something that clicks. There's also LBX.

i have looked at brave but it seems more expensive then tfs and super sentai

whats a toyline similiar to saint seiya and kamen rider figuarts thats not to expensive

btw i love rockman (exe, starforce, x, zx and the original) and digimon so if you could find a toyline for those thats not to expensive and not crap (ie digivolving line then i could get into that)

also i love lbx

I say just go for what you like. The D-arts line, while somewhat expensive, will most likely make you happy. I know I'm done for if they release a Kabuterimon or Ikkakumon, those are the monsters I'd probably have to pick up. Maybe Greymon. There's something to be said about a good representation of a given property.
