Hilariously bad editing in American toku
 

I'm slowly working my way through the first season of Mighty Morphin', and just noticed this in episode 11 ("For Whom the Bell Trolls"). Did Saban really think no one would notice a random kid???

I remember seeing a video showing that Black RX characters showed up at the end of Masked Rider too, so I was wondering if anyone else had any of these hilarious instances to share.

I never noticed that before xD Oh Saban, I miss that first season.

I chalk that up to being part of Trini's dream hahaha

In the SPD episode "Wormhole", the crew obviously didn't do direction very well, as the Dino Thunders go to do their morphing pose and Connor is looking down at the ground (even though the audio has him say "Ready!") and then cuts away and back again and he's got the morpher ready but all lackadasical like.

I dunno, found it just another horrible thing in that episode.

In the first episode of Masked Rider there are several moments when he's fighting the first monster of the week where it's clearly footage of ZO instead of Black RX. I've heard this happens with ZO and even J a few other times during the show's run. There are also all the times when Tetsuo Kurata is clearly visible instead of Dex's actor.

Masked Rider also had this problem with the character of Nefaria. In the scenes on Count Dregon's ship, the long shots were clearly not the same actress as the closeups. I mean, they were both Asian, that's where the resemblance ended!

Of course, who can forget in Masked Rider when the other Riders showed up and all of their names were mixed up!

Masked Rider was just a mess in terms of writing and editing but what makes me laugh is in one episode you can clearly see a boom mic!

I actually never watched Masked Rider outside of the Power Rangers crossover.
