Personally, I thought it was brilliant. The absence of Amy, Ian, and Souji was weird, but I felt that King, Nossan, and Utchii carried the special by themselves perfectly. Besides, more Ramirez is always good in my book. Tessai was there, too, so that's cool.

Oh, and we finally get an answer as to how Utchii goes Armed On (he slashes the wing on the Gaburichanger across his arm).

The bonus DVD that came in Televi-kun Magazine. TV-Nihon released the subtitled version of it recently, and since we don't have a new episode this week, I thought it was worth discussing.

This may sound stupid but even after 26 episodes I just realized that the Kyoryugers have a shoulder pad on their left shoulder...

Moving on, more Utchi is always a good thing, and now we learn he has a good "Gag Sense" :p

The extra armed on modes were okay I guess, I definitely prefer Goldar Zandar Thunder to the Plezuon one; and the plot was as expected of a bonus DVD simple and gimmick focused but otherwise okay, not using the entire cast was a good thing imo.

It should still be there.

Eh, it was alright. I've been spoiled with the last two series' DVD specials though.

Was nice seeing the Spirit Rangers again, even if I had to endure TV-Nihon's awful way of conveying puns.

I think this might be the closest thing the Spirits have to a real fight. Like, not just throwing CGI hammers at monsters kinda fight.
